  1. Wait he says to sack MT but then they need a MT sort who worked with no money.
  2. Both. Tinnion is experienced enough and Manning isn't good enough.
  3. Manning, Jon and Tinnion all need to go. If we want a Technical Director/Director of Football we need experience not someone whose only experience is Academy Director or Pathway manager or whatever his title was. Richard Gould showed what a competent CEO can do. Manning could be good in the future but for the here and now he isn't good enough and I don't want to wait for the future. Here and now we need to get rid of him and bring in a name not a project manager I mean our record on project managers isn't great (LJ, Holden and Manning)
  4. I'd take King till the end of the season but the next person in has to be a manager and not a head coach.
  5. The players seem confused under Manning. Under Nige everyone knew their role. We look best when the players go back to how they were under Nige, sit back and hit them on the counter. To bring in "his" players to suit his style will cost a lot of money. I would rather use that money to get rid of him and bring someone in who can use the system we have, won't need to change much and can coach the players to be better.
  6. Nige had everyone pulling the same way. He was developing a culture and identity for the club. I'm not going to blame Manning too much but Boy Wonder, Tinnion and Manning have all undone the good work that was done under Nige and are taking us one way... to League One.
  7. Manning has lost the fans and the players it seems. He has to go.
  8. Because when you go to fantastic stadiums like they have at Burton Albion and Cheltenham why would you go to a stadium where nothing matches.
  9. Which makes it all the more funnier that Joey banned the Post from attending pre and post match conferences.
  10. Got to love those totally legitimate reviews at the bottom of the website.
  11. I will give credit to the fans that went last night given the conditions (and Exeter seemed to bring a fair few). But for "the best fans in bristol" to get sub 7k is absolutely laughable. The cowshed was meant to bring fans not turn them away.
  12. Birmingham always been a bit of a bogie team. So head says a loss with Stansfield scoring the winner, heart says we should tonk them 3-0 without going out of 3rd gear.
  13. Steve has all my respect for supporting us financially every year and redeveloping Ashton Gate. But it's the constant mixed messages, the not straight forward answers, the bizarre decisions with no answer they just know "its the best step" that need to be sorted. Things were running smoothly when Richard was Chief Executive because everything was explained why things were happening "we need to cut down on x so there won't be much spend in the market" and then he moves they hire someone who has a fantastic track record and then let him go without saying anything until it was spoken about on here. I think he also needs to stop Bristol Sport it was a good idea but we aren't a big enough name for it to work.
  14. A draw would be a good result but I just can't see it. Boro have really started to kick into gear and Carrick is a good manager. I'll back LM and the team but I can't support those higher up and with Boy Wonder saying this is a top 6 team that's probably what LM will be judged on. Replacing a popular manager is never an easy job and I do wish him well but I'm just so deflated after the sacking of NP and the unprofessionalism around it.
  15. Well there's your problem when have they ever done anything 21st century?
  16. I hope he does well for us I really do. My biggest concern is the players we have were brought in by Pearson to play his style of football and from the looks of it Manning plays a different style so we may have to spend money to get the style he wants which would probably annoying fans because Pearson wasn't backed...
  17. My biggest concern with this is his style of play doesn't suit the players we have and in the championship he will probably get found out for playing that style.
  18. I miss Twentyman because you know he would've followed up on some of those questions to push for more. The comment about CEO baffled me because Gavin is CEO of Bristol Sport and Bristol Bears and they want him to be the defacto leader of Bristol City as well. That's stretching him a bit thin to oversee multiple entities. Gould was one of the best because the communication was there with the fans. I don't know why it changed with Alexander and don't know why it didn't work put but it just didn't. I just want the Lansdowns out now because it's just been poor decision after poor decision.
  19. He failed to mention its a top 10 budget for league one.
  20. A Coach who hasn't really done well despite spending a lot of money and dealing with some boardroom politics? S**t seems like we're hiring Lampard then.
  21. I fully back Curtis to keep their heads on right. He won't hang them out to dry and he'll make sure they are in as right of a mind frame they can be in.
  22. No, no, no and Top Half. I think the majority if city fans just wanted to see progress up the table if we could challenge for the play offs then fantastic but if we finish 11th then that's been a great season.
  23. Simple answer is they can't turn this around. They could appoint Pep give him the keys to the castle and the trust still wouldn't be there. It takes ages to build up trust but a moment to knock it all down. Every bit of good they've done was wiped away in an instant because of this. Nige had the support or the players and the fans. He never lost either because we all knew what a shit hand he was dealt and then JL spouts off a load of s**t about how the squad (which nige put together) is capable of going up and that results haven't been good enough. He was never backed in the transfer market and we are 5 points off the play offs with a whole first XI out injured the **** does he expect would happen. He needs to carve up Bristol Sport (a failed project) and sell off the Club to someone who will back the manager.
  24. It reminds me a bit of the WWE Vince McMahon had been in power for so long appointed his son and daughter in positions of power and was making mistake after mistake after mistake. They end up merging with the UFC and he's out of decision making. SL and JL are determined to ruin this club I swear just wrong decision after wrong decision. I feel sorry for the next manager coming in because they'll be the middle man (or woman) between the fans and the board and that relationship is strained after this whole debacle.
