I was in the Pearson out camp after the west Brom game I just couldn't see how he could come back from that we were absolutely shocking and the only way were heading was down. I was an advocate for him when he joined he was a proven manager which is exactly what we needed and performances last season were fantastic but it just didn't click for us at the start of the season. I'm happy he's proving me wrong since Boxing day and I still believe he is the right man for us through the summer and next season just no more performances like West Brom on boxing day.

Accrington are missing their first choice strikers and have a midfielder playing as a striker currently. I mean I know the sags will say they are only 11 points off the play offs but much like last season they need to get it right in January or it's a trip back down to league two.

Both teams have injuries today so if the sags win they'll be coming for us again. How JB keeps getting away with stuff is amazing, he's got to one of the top people in the country with all these offences yet only being locked up once!

I'll admit during the summer I thought if we get in a decent bid for him I wouldn't be too sad if he left. Model professional by all accounts off the pitch, hasn't thrown his toys out of the pram because he hasn't been playing. Playing in the u23's last season and has really helped the youngsters on the training pitch. He really has taken his opportunity this season (admittedly he's being played as a striker through the middle instead of out wide like LJ did with him) and he offers us something different to the other 4 strikers, I'm glad he didn't leave in the summer.

Yeah such a shame that all the premier league teams have sent out players on loan to the football league (mainly to the championship). I mean it's like the club's want their youngsters playing at the highest level possible that isn't the premier league to get some experience. I mean who sanctioned all those moves and why weren't Bristol Rovers involved in any of the deals!
