  1. I doubt Tinnion has the balls to sack him this season. But he can probably squirm a scenario whereby he sacks him in October and possibly still keep his job.

    Scott Twine

I thought it was a pretty good debut. Right place right time for the goal and right place to make a few adventurous passes which didn't come off but if that clicks for him it'll be a joy for Knighty, Tommy, Nakhi and those around. Needs some prompting on tracking and the press imo but hopefully that'll be addressed quickly at the HPC. Looking good overall and might produce those extra goals and points to move us nearer the top 6 but let's give him time
  3. As Nige said all but one of the 11 injuries were impact injuries sustained in matches and unavoidable. They were obviously throwing that flimsy excuse about poor training at him as a prelude to initiating their masterplan.
  4. Pretty much agree with all of this M, I'd just add that if I have trouble sleeping because my brain is running through a million things I think of City and even if we're going through a bad patch I leave the mundane worries behind and can only the see positives my team is capable of. Sound asleep within a few minutes!
  5. They'll get £100mn over 2 years according to Sky Sports. Maybe they'll make a higher bid than B'mouth
  6. Are there better CBs than TK to be found on a free at £10k pw?
  7. Thought James played a bit better after Williams got subbed. All 3 pretty poor though.
  8. According to Railstaff, the main railway industry rag . "Typically it takes between nine and 12 months to become a qualified train driver" so I wouldn't be straightforward. Be great if we could run our oqn trains into Ashton Gate tho'.
  9. The Czech Republic have 4 matches in June so if he's fit and can get some pitch time before then he may be in contention for a start in some or all of those games. If he plays he will be in the media spotlight globally. So a fee paying transfer could be possible. I take the point that TK played best with Webster but there is the possibility that an incoming centre back during the window could be the perfect pairing to get TK back to the best form we've seen from him so far. Thomas has some very good attributes, not least he is quick on the turn and over the first 10 yards. Or perhaps Atkinson will make the step up after an injury / illness start here to be the ideal partner for him either in a 3 or 4 at the back. One way or another It may yet turn out to be a big(ish) plus for us. Or get him signed on a new, lower wage deal and improve the balance sheet? Although I think that is less likely than a fee paying transfer if we can get it.
  10. Mr P, Coppello, do you know if FFP breaches are dealt with by the the EFL's Disciplinary Commission with a barrister and an arbitrator with minimum 5 years post qualification experience or are they reviewed "lower down" first? Do the EFL have a legal affairs dept? I can't find anything which refers to one on the EFL site.
