  1. Yeh 5 0 and pick holes on probably the best pundit they’ve had all season
  2. Was always going to be the same. Some on here will always stick to their agenda, even if we play the same as we did tonight. Same who still harp on about Cotteril, Johnson, Holden, the messiah, blah blah!!
  3. Whilst somewhat agreeved at how they handled the Nige sacking I read these comments and thinkfeck me look back to the Russe &Davidson eras and want to know how much better it would have been with them in charge? I stand by the Landsdowns, not because they’ve delivered what we all expect but god forbid what could end up happening to us if we sold our sole to the highest bidder! From someone who isn’t overly enamoured with how it’s going at the moment but has seen enough over the last 40+ years to think we’ve always flattered to deceive but never quite performed!!

Thought he showed what he’s capable of today what with the goal, free kick prior to the pen and his all round play. Truly hope he kicks in from this cause I reckon there’s a proper player in there. would also say how happy I was watching Mehmeti play for the 20 odd mins he was on. Actually ran at the goal as opposed to QPRwhere he kept stopping around the 18 yard box, cut in and lost it. Again I’m hoping LM gives him his head as we could have a rough diamond in there Really enjoyed today (well bar the first 40 mins and 6 mins of second half)
  5. Did wonder that today NP took the hit on the injured players ready for forthcoming 2 winnable games even if it meant 3 points lost?
  6. If I remember correctly when he was part of the squad in 08 we were 2nd in the league then got injured and we dropped down out of the automatics. Come play off final it was his first game back for a while. No use crying over spilt milk over the Windass goal but I for one reckon if he hasn’t been injured we’d have made top 2. don’t get the hatred for the man. Wore city on his sleeve and I wish him all the best in whatever ventures he has to go through
  7. Forgive me as I don’t post that often. Sat there today which could easily be described as poor to say the least. Sat next to mate discussing the Pearson conundrum and thought he hit the nail on the head. For as long as I’ve been watching City and it’s been pre Div 1 promotion we’ve consistently demanded a ‘big name manager’ to sort us out! Well we’ve now had one for best part of two seasons and still no further forward. In my opinion we have the makings of a feckin good squad but for some reason we get beaten up by teams like Stoke, and sorry but 2 years in I reckon there only lies one fault! All this toilet about Lansdown out is quite frankly laughable. The man has put us into what I appreciate at the mo ain’t great but we are an established Championship side which for the 40 years plus I’ve been watching we’ve never managed until now. back to the original bent. IMHO I think Pearson had his day and to go forward I’d quite like someone who gave a sh1re!! off to put Helmet on?
  8. For what it’s worth (and obvs my own opinion) today was the most enjoyment I’ve taken from watching us this season. Yep we didn’t take our chances when there but other than that I was massively impressed by both the teamwork and spirit we showed throughought the whole game. You can argue about a Fulham second string but by 70 mins they had a team out there that we would have prosituted ourselves to have in our own team as individuals. Thought Pring was immense today, thought Nakhi ran his arse off, thought King cemented our midfield. Then as extra time came Fulham could call on experience into a well gelled team whilst we were kind of square pegs in round holes (JD) at eight back for example! That said we didn’t deserve to lose and watching the likes of Mitrovic congratulating the likes of Max & Pring after the final whistle tells me we aren’t that far off! yes it’ll be a struggle this year but what I’ve seen from the last few games gives me a huge amount of confidence & those that are still moaning clearly haven’t had the joy of watching us since 1980!!
  9. That’ll be the funds he had from the sales he had to make. So bored with all the ‘it’s all LJ’s fault’. Since the messiah took over we have been absolutely dire. The last two games have said it all. Even with the 3 points on Saturday there is no avoiding that we were fortunate to come away with a win and notwithstanding, the recent games have been totally turgid to watch!!
  10. This has been like watching the days of O Driscoll. Makes me laugh when I read on here people blaming LJ for all our current travails. Bring me back his style of football any day.
