  1. Have done the same - you can use a temporary email provider (like https://temp-mail.org) to prevent all the inevitable spam that comes with a derby fan account.

    BCTV

Anyone heard any updates about BCTV yet? My renewal was cancelled (as was everyones, I guess) under the promise that a new service was coming... With less than two weeks to go until the first game of the season still all quiet on the (South) Western front, and still no clearer if they're using the same platform, fixed any of the issues and, most importantly, the cost!
  3. Jenson Button, apparently https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/0/football-clubs-famous-celebrity-fan/jenson-button/
  4. *hangs my head in shame* You're absolutely right. Is it a bad sign that I completely forgot about him???
  5. Is it neither, because we're still 6 weeks away from the start of the season, haven't announced any of our signings or even seen them play together yet? All very quick to forget that Bobby only started hitting anything like goalscoring form and looking like a first team regular in the preseason last year. Whilst I don't doubt we'll end up finishing lower in the table than we did this past year, I'm a long ways away from throwing in the towel just yet.

    Willem II

Bit of a lighthearted one this afternoon from me folks, but just saw Willem II's miss from last week - what an absolute stinker (at 1:05)! And on a side note, seems their 3rd kit bears a striking similarity with another that I've seen this season... https://webshop.willem-ii.nl/derde-wedstrijdshirt.html I know that the fans from both us and them have an "understanding", but is there anything more official between the clubs that would explain why they're so similar?
  7. Just done mine. Would still be a bargain at twice the price!

    Lucic

I'm guessing they mean Steele who, for my money, has mostly looked solid in covering for Frankie. Whilst it was worth a punt at ~£300k to see if he was any good it's a shame Lucic couldn't cut it here, but I'm not too worried he's off.
  9. Diony way is up, surely? https://youtu.be/hOMvs_1UFCk

    Kent

Completely agree - reminds me a lot of Pato (not just because of where he plays). Seemed almost to be thinking a step ahead of a lot of the others up top on a couple of occasions with some give-and-go's that didn't quite come off. Once he/they get on the same page, I think we'll have a real threat on our hands.
  11. Back in training as of the start of this month, possibly just building up match fitness? He was starting regularly before he got injured.
  12. Wouldn't mind seeing someone come in in midfield, a proper harasser and someone who breaks play up in the centre of the park, but I'm not going to worry too much if we're not cracking out the chequebook for anyone. We're looking solid as a team, and have good strength in depth at the moment - the result away to Sheffield United last week demonstrated that. In terms of players coming back in January - George Dowling's loan will be up, as will McCoulsky's. Wouldn't mind having either of them around as cover for our injury "problem areas". Don't think either of them are necessarily week-in week-out first team level yet, but to have as backup and even if just to blood them properly in the championship would surely be a good thing. Plus, they've both looked good, albeit at a lower league level. I can also see Hinds coming back - almost no game time at Cheltenham isn't going to do him much good in terms of progression.
  13. I've heard exactly this from someone normally pretty good with what they get out of the club; Pisano and two more (no idea who, mind) to be announced at the end of next week to coincide with the players coming back from their break.
