  1. For all the excuses that get trotted out like getting rid of the deadwood, cutting the wage bill etc he wasn't exactly a roaring success was he, I must admit the way some go on on here you would have thought we had been a fast-raiding attractive to watch side that was going places when he was with us when in fact his stats were quite poor, yes there were some mitigating circumstances but I somehow expected more from him, but even so I find the OP a bit cringy, I mean OUR Nige.
  2. It's with a heavy heart I have to announce one of footballs great showmen and entertainers from the 1970s Stan Bowles has died aged 75 from Alzheimer's, for those too young to remember him he was a true entertainer a cocky flamboyant player who sometimes did things that made it worth the admission price alone. RIP Stan. Stan Bowles: Former England and QPR forward dies aged 75 - BBC Sport
  3. No way on this earth ( this season) as for the next well the jury is out.
  4. I could have sworn I heard Illia's Chairs name mentioned for QPR that can't be right, can it?
  5. I wouldn't like to have to limbo under that bar .
  6. A typical game where one team have a lot more to play for, it's the travelling fans I feel sorry for.
  7. Could have been worse could have been egg and cress .
  8. Sometimes though player's hamstrings go when they have been playing nearly the whole game I'm not sure I buy the warming-up theory.
  9. But Pearson was given 3 years, not just the 18 games at the end. I would hope we have learned that chopping and changing managers does not usually work and it's not as if we need to panic as barring an unlikely set of results we are safe this season, perhaps if we were in relegation trouble your suggestion would carry more merit.
  10. What are you alluding to? that we somehow let him slip through our fingers?
  11. I still think we should reserve judgment, 20 odd games are a bit soon to decide on his future.
  12. We did not play well on Saturday nobody could argue against that, but we were very good against West Ham and Nottingham Forest had great results against Middlesboro and outplayed Southampton, so what does that say? well, we all know that on our day we are a match for most teams in this league but have too many off days just like under Pearson really. Talk of another change of manager is madness look I've been disappointed as well but come on we're not Watford. where the manager of the month means exactly that.

I do remember the, we would have been better off with Benny from Crossroads gags .
  14. No, I didn't, I still think it is a bit brave to call yourself Dire though, let's hope he turns out not to be.
  15. Not offended, and as he likes to be known by that name fair enough, though he might change his mind once he realises what that shortened version of his name means in English, a bit like W*n*e* being a surname in the US I'm pretty sure anyone moving here would probably change it.
  16. I just wonder why when people talk about Adedire they call him Dire, unless, of course, they are being sarcastic.
  17. Men in their 20s and 30s are tired after a couple of hours running about, and then 3 days off, I feel for them.
  18. By that token shouldn't we call Adedire Ady then?
  19. Isn't his name Adedire?

A bit like the whole team (well most of them) he looked pretty promising against the Saints collectively today was a massive comedown.
  21. Our performance against Southampton would say potentially we are.
