And I'm being kind.
So you’re saying-
His distribution wasn’t/isn’t poor?
and he is the long term answer for us to be a top 6 team?30 minutes ago, Fuber said:We have many, many, more pressing issues before it comes anywhere close through that list to get to keeper though, surely?
Him, Dickie, Vyner, Pring, Tanner, have all been solid. McCrorie good in flashes but expect him to need the full summer to get bsck to top shape.
It's the mess in front of them Tinnion needs to sort in the summer.
TGH and Bird - I don't see being the answer being blunt. Hoping the latter will surprise me on paper but the verdict will come once he has 15 games under his belt.
The former doesn't provide much evidence in BTs favour - jury is out still.
Especially if he's hoping one of Stokes and Murphy are stepping up next season to cover King, Williams, and James leaving.
That's not touching on the lack of wide options we have and the poor form of our forwards.
We have James, King, Williams, Twine (Loan), Mebude (Loan), all leaving as stands. Add to that Bajic heading for the exits. Then youth clearout - think 7 U21s are out of contract (Wiles-Richards, Leesson, Acey, Idehen, François, Wood, Backwell.
Gives some room for Tinnion to maneuver, if, for example we get circa £3m for Conway (not getting anymore than that for him with his return this season imo). Should be enough to get two in, plus a couple of frees. Whether that's enough to make this Mannings squad is a completely different question.
Apologies for the spiel - I've ended up just yammering.
Agreed- more important areas initially, My view is you don’t win promotion with MOL as your keeper

Played well today, 3 very good saves from Vardy.
distribution still poor, and if we’re all being honest, he isn’t the long term answer to get top 6, albeit we have more pressing areas to improve in fist.

Just be man enough to say you’d rather we played badly
Nope, I wouldn’t. As I said, this has been the best we can be, but we are still 0-0 and history suggests, what we saw for 25 mins is not the norm.
anyway- back to the game Liam.

Leicester in 3rd gear. We’ve been the best we can be and not scored. A good 15 minute spell doesn’t change anything.

Fair play to the club, I didn't think they could get any worse at "reading the room" following the BT on SOTC and then the in house production of LM on the international break.......
BUT THIS, WOW.

Any south stand season ticket holder that want to sell their ticket please
I might have a spare adult and x2 kids tickets available if that helps you?
Awaiting news on if a mate can attend, if not, you’re welcome to them

Is it right that for 2024/25 season you HAVE to have/use a digital season card, and there is no option to have the physical card as per previous years?

I’d take him back over our current manager in a heartbeat.

On a brighter note, that’s reminded me of this. We all know @Olé is a top bloke but it’s worth showing for those who haven’t seen it
I remember this- what an unbelievable gesture that was, from a real BCFC fan, who does very good match reports, and was brilliant on OSIB! @Olé
it also shows how bad it’s got now with LM, that I actually miss LJ (vs LM)

Just now, Superjack said:It'll be Tinnion until the season's end while they conduct a 'rigourous process'.
Peak City would be this-
Tinnion takes over “until the end of the season”
We go on a decent run, 5 wins, 2 draws, 1 defeat.
we appoint Tinnion to a 3 year deal, Jon says “judge me on tinnion”
We sign Grant Smith and Matt Heywood in the summer, and then by October Gary Johnson is appointed manager.

Well, with Ian Gay stating (assumedly through Tinnion) that Liam has 8 games to save his job, I think we can reasonably say we’re nearing endgame. A couple of weeks ago I was of the mind to give Liam until the end of the season and see if we continually improved in a few key areas (game management, speed of play, bravery) - but we’ve regressed and I think the ship has now sailed.
What we can glean is that those above Liam (assuming SL) aren’t happy with what’s gone before, and we know wins of the nature of Swansea won’t butter any parsnips.
So, in those 8 games somehow Liam needs to markedly improve results (probably to playoff form) and performance not to get the sack. I don’t think that’s happening - and the way we’re setting up even if we meet point one we’re not getting point two.
It’s the end of the beginning and the beginning of the end. I’ve got no real doubt he won’t be here at the start of the season considering what he’ll need to do. It’s probably done in the next 3 games in practical terms.
And for avoidance of doubt, there is no way Tinnion should then be caretaker and he should be getting the archer as well.
Where has Ian “leaked” this. I see his tweets are protected again but haven’t seen what he said.
In relation to it, 8 games are pointless, we’ve seen 24 of them under LM to know what we’re getting/going to get- do it now IMO!

Gone well hasn’t it.

Sadly, it’s now actually at the stage where the Leicester game MUST be a time to show the frustration towards the board and in turn Manning.

The tweet speaks volume for the respect, (or lack of) Liam Manning has within the squad.
An embarrassment of an appointment

Got to expect the pre WBA presser should throw up some good questions for LM on the back of this, lets hope they push him hard!

The most humiliating part of BT and any time he does these interviews….. is he seems to forget that they can always be referenced in the future.
He sets himself up for such a fall.
see you when we’re in the prem!

That couldn’t have gone any worse.
Sadly, at some point, they’ve decided that BT is the best man for that interview, which tells you everything you need to know. -

Best time on left of a front 3 while at Luton. Think still carrying a knock today.
But with a “target man” to work off….

Signed on the back of a solid few seasons at Luton, where he played upfront, alongside a “big man”
Came here, and has been lumbered out wide, and never given a run through the middle, as a 2.
Not defending his performances, BUT it’s like signing Kal Naismith who’s been exceptional as a left sided Center back and playing him in a 2….oh wait I’ll get my coat

All but mathematical safety confirmed.
Now is the time to act, get rid of Manning, utilise King/others to see us through the season and then get ready to make a managerial announcement ready for next season.
We can (high majority) all see that Liam Manning isn’t the man for this job.
if only the technical director had any ounce of credibility about himself

Now captained his boyhood club to a League 1 title, was in TOTY and just popped to POTY.
A superb player for us, who as above mentioned was under valued by so many!
