  1. No not suffering from dyslexia and going for Fammy. Like BCFCR&W, I just needed an excuse to post a Peruvian Tuna called Fanny

    History

BRUCE Halliday must have found his calling as he's now a Financial Planner in Brisbane https://www.vanguardinvestments.com.au/adviser/adv/contacts.jsp
  3. Beinsports 3 - 2am Sunday morning in Sydney
  4. Memorable day for me too as I arrived in this world at Southmead Hospital
  5. 3-1 win home to Hull on 18/9/73 aged 7. Very memorable as Ray Cashley scored!
  6. Bang on the date! I'm in the photo and was back from Aus for that month. Wait years to watch City and they lose 2-0 at home to PNE. Typical!
  7. It may have happened in 86 too but in 2000, I called Radio Bristol from Sydney to listen to the commentary for the Stoke final. Yes, the internet was working but nothing like today and this was the only way to get it "live". I wasn't expecting it but they got me to comment on the radio at half time, which was bizarre as I hadn't seen any of it! This information somehow made it back to Sydney and I found myself reading about myself in Column 8 of The Sydney Morning Herald! As for 86, yes I was there and still one of the best days of my life - absolutely loved that team and that era of home and away every week. Did all 56 matches that season - The semis v Hereford were incredible but also remember coming back in a blizzard after the 2-1 win over Walsall in an early round.
  8. Wright had a very poor game, he was caught in possession a few times and caught out of position a few more and it's the worst I've seen him play. Can't say he was directly attributable for the goals but was at fault for a few Norway half chances and was lucky he lasted 51 mins. Overall he looked nervous and didn't contribute anything positive. To be fair, Australia overall were very poor and took the lead against the run of play with a great Irvine (Hull) header from a pinpoint Mooy (Hudd) corner. The rest of the first half was woeful and they only looked a bit brighter when Rogic (Celtic) and Luongo (QPR) came on with the game opening up a bit more. In all fairness to Wright he was marking the impressive Elyounoussi (Basle) who was only bettered on the field by hat-trick Kamara. Looks like a short WC for The Socceroos.
  9. Remember it well. So ****ing incensed, I tried to look up Norman Glover in the phone book, so that I could give him my opinion directly. He must have been ex-directory (like most refs)
  10. Just read in the program we were playing against 4 Flower Sellers a Photographer, BT Technician, Tarmac Rep, Sun employee, Glazier (Pardew), Cabbie, Surveyor, Stencil Maker (Gray) and a Designers Cutter
  11. Yes, Pardew played in both games and so did Andy Gray (ex Palace, Villa & Spurs)
  12. Best piece of skill I've seen from a City player. Just in front of enclosure running towards open end. Sure it was v Ipswich and young keeper Richard Wright just beat Jacki to the ball.
  13. Just set up the TV for 1.55am KO on Sunday - Australia EST. BeInsports 3. City on 3 times in a week - never seen anything like in my 20+ years down here. Happy Days......or early mornings, I should say!
  14. Northern Spirit before their demise. Had a couple of ex City in Julian Watts and David Seal playing as well as ex Norwich player Ian Crook. Also had Nicola Berti who was truly awful and on a meal ticket.
  15. Galston. NSW 2159. Australia
