  1. The Drawbridge by the Hippodrome seems okay or any of the ones on King Street. If you are looking for cider then try The Apple, You'll find plenty of cider there.
  2. Due to Illness I only managed three away games this last season. QPR, Derby and the one I enjoyed most (despite being on medication and unable to drink alcohol) was Burton Albion. It's a bit of a walk to the ground but a nice day out, quite reminiscent of the old division 4 both in the stadium and the quality of football that day!
  3. We've had him twice before this season. Away to QPR (1-1 draw) and away to Bolton Wanderers (lost 1-0). Eight yellows and no reds.
  4. I don't know mind PC have a lot of injuries at the moment.
  5. Proof positive that Flint is Superman not that Clark Kent bloke.
  6. Cinderford, Forest of Dean. It's not as bad as it's reputation honestly.
  7. I have every faith in Mark Ashton and Lee Johnson knowing who we will be signing in January already. They don't tend to do things by accident, it appears that its all very planned out months in advance with all scenarios covered. Or they've fooled me and it's chucked together on the fly!

They are a very good side and played some very entertaining football. I'd rather watch them than some of the sides we've played this season.
  9. Great, I wasn't planning on going through Wales today but does means more trains through Gloucester.
  10. I thought the premiership was some faked reality program off that TV thing.
  11. Then I'll have nothing to worry about then, well apart from how much chocolate I've eaten.
  12. I'm taking it one game at a time and we'll see where we are at Easter before I start worrying about how well we are doing.
  13. I remember a similar incident happening in the 15/16 season so they have form for it.
  14. A lot of the pubs are home fans only, I do recommend trying to sneak into the Billy Wright mind. we got herded into the Walkabout a few years ago, or there are a few student bars around by the Slade rooms.
  15. Well, it comes from Sage so it probably is alright as business management software goes.
  16. Yes, somehow I'd forgotten the Gif. The best thing about this season if you ask me!
  17. When he is on form he is exciting and fun to watch and I do like his videos on player/BCTV.
  18. I've fallen into the Merchant's Arms a few times. Top class pre match Scotch eggs.
  19. I used to love Animal Magic and even now can't resist the chance to give an animal a silly voice.
  20. You can listen to it on the BBC Radio player app thingy. I usually do this on the way into work on a Tuesday and it can be a really good listen most of the time.
  21. 21st I've never been so pessimistic before the season starts, don't know why either.
  22. I went to QPR in May for the first time in a long time but as I was on tablets I didn't really worry too much about the pubs, but apart from the aforementioned Belushi's nowhere would let you in if you didn't have a ticket for the home end. I suggest as other have mentioned, stopping off a couple of tube stations early and finding a pub. My recommendation from Paddington is The Old Swan opposite Notting Hill Gate tube station. Take the Circle/District line to there and then the Central line to Sheppard's Bush.
