Personally think he should have been playing upfront in recent weeks, our most prolific scorer and his work rate is better than wells. Doesn’t make sense to stick him out wide or playing behind wells but needs must today

Don't generally have a problem with swearing but the bloke in the front of the South Stand calling everyone boring C***S for not joining in the bounce around was pushing it a bit.
On a slightly different subject I also hate being looked at as a day tripper, I can't afford to go every week anymore and decided to take my 8 years old for this game. But I was there during the Gary Johnson early days when we lost every game, I was there on a cold Tuesday watching O'Driscoll playing Marlon Harwood up front, I had hope in my heart when I saw the team and Matt Heywood was partnering David Partridge at centre back, I've earnt my stripes to pick and choose when I attend

Is anyone actually noticing points being added to their account? I have spent money in the club shop, purchased tickets for the Man City game and used affiliated sites but my balance hasn't changed.

Really enjoyed the game and my 9 year old son loved the experience of seeing a team win a trophy.
Walsh and Stanway looked class in Midfield, thought Lauren James looked unstoppable at times but then also looked totally uninterested at others.
Personally thought the Mexican Wave and random camera phone waving was a bit disrespectful, I know it's a bit of fun and the game was over but not sure I'd be happy watching a men's game and doing it. The football on show was entertaining enough without weirdos shouting at me to get up to do a stupid wave.

You could try The Ceili. They play Irish songs and are great fun. Nick is a big City fan as well.
Thanks for the recommendation.
I've found a couple, 7-8-9s and Snappa if anyone has seen them play

To be honest I was hoping to keep it under £1000 but that might be wishful thinking

Can anyone recommend a good band or singer to hire for a 70th birthday in Bristol
Looking for someone who can play a mixture of songs to get people up dancing as well as doing the DJing during the night.
My family is Irish so if they can play a few Irish songs even better

The whole heavyweight division is a bit of a myth, usyk and fury are miles ahead of the rest. Just look at zhang v hrgovic, not good enough to step in the ring with those two, same as Whyte, Parker, Joyce, Dubois etc.
Wilder may have a say, he’s still not really proven as he lost to fury, was fury amazing or wilder rubbish??
AJ needs a massive PR job and outside of a fight with wilder I don’t see any fight that you would pay to watch.
Also how poor was he in the clinch last night, usyk pushed him off or wriggled free every time, embarrassing for a big man. Fury will wrap him up and lean on him all night.

Naismith just scored from a corner ???

But surely signing a CB who isn't great in the air isn't a good thing. From memory Luton are a big side so he can probably get away with it, but it's not a good thing for us.

Why does it matter the position of the player who takes the corner? He used to be a winger if that helps? If he's the best player at the club at taking corners he should take corners regardless of his position...
Maybe I'm just out of touch with football nowadays but I would prefer a CB who is dominant in the air and a threat in the oppositions box and my wide players to be the best crossers of the ball in the team
-
I never said anything bad about Naismith, he had a shocker but clearly is a decent championship CB, just a bit embarrassing we have no other forward to take corners.
Not really got an issue with Sykes starting to be honest, but when Pritchard basically has target practice for a large part of the second half anyone could see it needed changing.

Factually wrong on both counts.
Naismith took them at Luton & Sykes played a fair few games at right wing back last season.
Problem is when we lose, the criticism moves on from the logical (such as we are still conceding too many goals) to absolutely everything & bleeding anything.
Not factually incorrect my friend as I never said it doesn’t happen and just said I’d never seen it, my point was how poor must your creative players be if your CB takes a corner
Also I can do a bit of DIY doesn’t make me a builder, Sykes played WB once or twice whereas Wilson played WB all last season and was in the league team of year. For me the right hand side was the problem and you can’t just blame vyner when the guy next to him had little positional awareness and was very light weight
-
Probably brought up in another thread but I’ve watched and played in some terrible standards of football but until today I’ve never seen a CB take corners
And then there’s playing a bloke at right wing back who’s never played right wing back when you have two right wing backs on the bench
very confused perhaps it’s Pearson version of total football

Did McInnes sign Kilkenny??

Not sure if City do this for every game but my son's school got given free tickets for the game, I thought it was a bit strange given Birmingham do have a reputation for bringing large numbers and the odd bit of trouble. We sat in W3 of the upper lansdown so had full view of the trouble in the Dolman A block, what with flares and objects being thrown I was surprised my 8 year old son was ok with it all. He did make me chuckle when he saw all the police outside after and said I know they need to make sure everyone gets home safe but this is a bit over the top isn't it dad!!!
I did laugh at a few Birmingham fans in the beer factory after the game, they were trying to decide where to watch the Liverpool game and decided that the Three lions sports bar would be ok as it wasn't too close to the ground

Not sure if this was mentioned elsewhere but did anyone watch the live stream of last nights game with the Reading commentary? It sounded like Piers Morgan.
Although the guy was quite annoying, this game along with the Cardiff game I have watched from there channel and I found it quite refreshing to have commentators who say how the fans are actually feeling. It wouldn't be a bad idea to get more fans involved in presenting City games on Robins TV rather than some art student who has no real feeling for the club

Yes, impressive - but what has his being Irish or not got to do with anything..?!
Nothing at all, just I didn’t know he was Irish and wasn’t expecting the accent. Just pointing out things I observed during his interviews

Not sure if mentioned elsewhere but I think he comes across really well in interviews. Didn’t know he was Irish, strikes me like someone who could really get a dressing room believing in themselves and also someone not to mess with

Eddie needs to stay away from the Mexicans, not only has Canelo beat all his fighters but first Ruiz and now Lara have exposed his fighters
personally think it was poor match making to put him in with a unknown, undefeated puncher when he was close to a big fight. Bet Warren is pissing himself
-
Really horrible atmosphere I thought. Hearing bellew, Haye etc all shouting for Del Boy just felt like a school playground fight. Glad Usyk won and him and his team have shown a lot of class. Think fury will be too big and too clever for him, I don’t think AJ has the same chin as Del Boy so that fight could be a lot closer than people think
-
Possible, who was he going to fight later in the year to sell out a stadium and get good PPV numbers? The Ruiz rematch will now give him and Hearn as big payday
