Would love to see Umbro, growing up that was iconic branding, then Adidas took over

Presume 86/7 as the Wembley win against Bolton was May 86 and that is the trophy I think.

It will be even funnier when Joey Ballbag blows his top when they have lost to what he claims is a far inferior side than they are then.

The other 70 EFL clubs will be bricking it, as the methane snorters keep insisting they are everyone’s second favourite team, as soon as the Cabbage Patch gets built (it won’t btw) the other fans will swap allegiance immediately so there will still be thousands locked out each match.

The BBC knows....... Reading are 'playing for pride and the fans' Reading head into their final game of the season away to Huddersfield on Monday with a dark cloud of uncertainty looming over them as they prepare for League One. Williams says the Royals cannot underestimate what lies ahead. "Some people might be saying we're going down to bounce back up, but you can be in League One for a very long time, and big clubs have been," he warned. "Look at the league and you'll see you are going to Cheltenham, Exeter and Bristol Rovers and you may be being a little bit disrespectful. "But then look elsewhere and there is Derby, Sheffield Wednesday, Barnsley, Bolton, Charlton - all big clubs historically. "This season has been disaster after disaster for Reading and it hurts me to say that.

I have a feeling a deal is already agreed, given the talk of potential incomings and some of the figures being quoted. Good luck to the lad, no one can honestly say he doesn't deserve it. -
I double checked before I started a thread as well! Mods please merge if applicable.

At the start of soccer Saturday today, he said this was his last year. He also acknowledged it has been said before, but confirmed he would be leaving Sky at the end of the season. Personally I would like to thank him for the 30 years he has contributed to, the program has really changed the landscape for football reporting oven the years.

Blackpool are down if they lose, Reading v Hudds last game means they can’t both get no points

That’s an unusual stance you’ve taken, you ought to have mentioned it before…. -
Was just about to post something similar, nearly all season any side bar Burnley were needing a couple of wins to get away from the bottom or a couple of wins to get into the promotion shake up.

Call one of your neighbours a nasty name, they'll probably come to you then!

I actually saw that and found it a refreshing piece of realisation........ Either that or it was an imposter from here!

Even though this is described as a ‘Derby’ at 125 miles away it hardly qualifies. Curiosity got to me, and Vale Park is 127 miles away, that would never be considered as a local match up. Not getting away from 480 being poor given their constant claims of mass travelling fans.

Tomlins pen? PS, has it come down yet?

I had it all planned out to be there, working in Leeds and York over the two following days doing safety checks on some of my guys. Then at the last minute one of them booked the day after the game off so my travel from Glos was pushed back 24 hours. Needless to say, he did not pass his checks! -
Agreed, I think the VAR system should be there for the on pitch official(s) to be able to go and look at something if his view was obscured or was a close call, not for a bloke 100 miles away not involved with proceedings to have his interpretation on what he thinks he's seen when slowed down from 20 different angles. At worst, the 4th official should be the one steering the on pitch ref that he may want to review something. The hand ball/penalty/no goal needs to be sorted out properly as well, take out any ambiguity.
