  1. Absolute joke of a game on Xbox. Every time I turn it on it downloads an update for three hours, during which time the game can’t be played. Fuming.
  2. RIP. Respect to the Moore family.
  3. No swipe at anyone, just suggesting that there is an opportunity to help out at an acute time of need. Many people are getting their full wage, many won’t be. A good objective metric for this being huge increase in applications for Universal Credit.
  4. Some might be happening, agreed. All are practical and beneficial.
  5. It does seem players are being paid in full. Inaction from players and club is beginning to leave a bad taste tbh. Other clubs are doing more for their communities. We have a rich owner with proud Bristolian heritage, and players earning more in a month than many of the non-playing staff or local residents will earn in a year. Could it be possible to: - Donate a % of player wages to support non-playing staff - Make a donation to local hospices, which are now in dire financial straits just as they could play a major role particularly if there is a trend for some towards palliation vs treatment - Use the Gate as a community hub for storage and distribution of food aid or medical supplies - Retain commercial catering supply chains and offer meals to those in close proximity Surely more can be done in extraordinary times?
  6. Will City playing staff take a temporary wage cut? I see Premier League has taken a blanket approach to defer, but clubs from Barcelona to Leeds negotiating bespoke packages with their players. Personally I think a temporary cut from City players would strike the right tone, they have bills to pay but by any standard are affluent young men. It would help Bristol Sport continue to pay non-playing staff regardless of SL’s generosity or the government scheme.
  7. Would rather give the extra fiver to the hospice especially at the moment. This virus is an added dimension to deal with for families.
  8. With the coronavirus postponement I find myself a few quid richer as saving on half time spends. Donate that pie and pint money to the children’s hospice and do something positive from a negative https://www.justgiving.com/chsw
  9. Mods can we move this? Irrelevant
  10. There is no doubt that Lee can talk a good game but please play one in the last few games.
  11. Nobes and the Chief turning up apparently
  12. Entertaining football at City is a myth, I’ve seen plenty of dire football including over the past few months. I’d gladly trade non-existent aesthetics for success! i also am sceptical that SL would go for him but really wish he would rather than go for someone already at the club or another up and comer.
  13. Proven ability to manage big players with big egos. Unlike LJ. Ipswich got relegated as soon as he left, says something about the job he was doing on a shoestring there.
  14. Pre-contract with Big Mick to join after the euros. 100% certain he would get more out of this squad.
  15. I’d be surprised if these revelations were any more than those facing other managers. Getting your excuses in for poor man management and failure to motivate players are we Lee?
  16. Hope Niclas gives him a torrid time now the wind is with us
  17. Just think he shouldn’t have goaded loyal City fans who backed him 100% for years. He could have celebrated with less vigour.
  18. Shouldn’t score or celebrate a goal against your former club if it’s City.
  19. Disrespectful from Ayling to celebrate like that.
  20. Ice hockey, darts, ten pin bowling could be good. Also badminton and bowls.
