Certainly know where the one in AG was!

Mind you, what the heck were one couple on? Thinking £280k might get you a two bed property with garden and separate consulting room in Bristol?!? Nice couple, but really smacked of currently living in London and not understanding prices elsewhere are also a bit high

The shock on their faces when they were shown mediocre houses in Brentry and Flax Bourton was quite funny.

Are you talking about the FA youth cup? Because JET did win that.

The other things I can find are league 1 runners up with us and league 2 runners up with Rotherham. Obviously Jet has a league 1 winners medal and football league trophy medal - seems like JET has a slightly better record if anything.

I feel like I'm missing some big achievement that Noble has, what am I missing?

Noble was a quality footballer but I think it was "the cider with" episode where he clearly had a chip on his shoulder/message he wanted to get across that ended up as a bit of rant and then the rest of the episode seemed like hard work.

He clearly has an opinion that people that are good at football (him) should be prioritised over athletic ability. He didn't seem to understand that if you've played some beautiful football for 20 minutes but you're now coughing your guts and the opposition are now giving you the runaround then you've caused more problems than you've sold.

Similar to JET and there are some similarities to Backinson although I wouldn't want to put Backinson in the same class of footballers as JET or Noble.

Some similarities to JET except Nobes achieved something.

Electric or hybrid? Genuine question, although I’m gonna need a 7 seater, and they’re not cheap. Just wondering if full electric is better as it’ll future proof it for longer?

I’m wondering the same . Can’t get my head around the economics and manufacturing costs to the environment of having two forms of propulsion in one vehicle.

Using your current car as a deposit should give you far more than you expected. If you can negotiate a deal and then be patient like us, you're in for a great deal.

Hopefully will get a decent p/x (Brera).

  6. Thanks for the tips. If I was paying up front then on price these wouldn’t compare. But on pay monthly it means that price isn’t the main factor. I need to ferry the kids and dogs around and cruise round WSM in the evening that’s it really.

Move somewhere out of the city easy access to ring Rd and motorways.

Nightmare driving and parking in Bristol now, random roads blocked off and so many roads permit parking or have to pay loads with 2hr maximum limits.

    Fellas and Felladettes,

One is considering a move to Bristol (among other places). In short, I have a fully remote job, no commitments, am bored of living where I do now and am looking to move somewhere else, time for a new adventure. As far as I'm concerned, if I don't enjoy it after say 6 months then I'll have no tie and can escape, if I do then woop for all the upside.

I studied at uni in London and stayed there for work until the pandemic with a brief spell in Leeds, came back to my family home at the start of the pandemic and haven't moved since. Have no real desire to head back to London whilst I don't need to (maybe future work will dictate moving back one day) so let's find somewhere new. Have visited Bristol a handful of times - a couple of times for a weekend, a couple of times for the football (a win, a defeat and a win against the ones with squares on their shirts) but I'm not hugely knowledgeable beyond the standard everyone saying it's a great place to live cos x,y,z and lots of ex-Londoners moving out there.

I'm a bit of a pretend country bumpkin so I don't want to live slap bang in the centre but I'm not yet ready to, so just the classic nice suburban/edge of the city area with an active social scene for young professionals and easy enough transport is what I'll be looking for.

I'm all for suggestions on where to live/help etc but let me also put it to you a bit differently to that, what are the things a local (or an adopted local even better) would tell an outsider to think about if moving to Bristol, either good or bad?

If you’re working remotely I assume a fast Internet service is needed. St George, Stockwood or Filton are known to be fastest areas.

  9. Quality Street win it for me. Unique selection and superior taste.

Celebrations and Heroes just buy the full size versions and divide with a sharp knife. Cheaper and each piece will get higher filling ratio to chocolate coating.

Roses I would once have bought but they keep changing the wrappers and the sweets inside. Just not the same anymore imo tbh.

I think he will go to Serie A

Quite likely. Misguided signing who never wanted to be here. Would’ve been better off keeping and playing Joe Morrell.
