Only just found this thread, I do like to find new bands I actually like. I shall trawl through the posts later.

For me there are plenty, because I have latched onto a few bands that I think will be massive, and they never blow up.

Icicle Works , I thought would be bigger than the Bunnymen etc.
60 Foot Dolls I thought would be massive.
The Strypes should have been huge.
Locally Fortune Drive were fantastic, both live and on record, disgrace that some of them are now the 45s and not touring the World.
Gene , another one and of Course the mighty HMHB should be on everywhere constantly.

 i see what you've done there.

  2. Some suggested Beatles titles very apt for today's little problem...

    I'm Down

    The Long And Winding Road

    You Won't See Me

I Want To Hold Your Hand

    The End

I'm sure I've missed some of the best ones, and come on, I'll even let you tamper with the titles a bit to fit the situation.

  3. Remember the classic Mike Parry one about cunning polar bears  ?   They do, they stick a snowball on their black nose so no one will see them coming .. and they creep up you

How to drive to Everton from Portsmouth....with Danny Kelly.

DK: 'And when's the last time you did that journey, Mike?'

MP: 'oh, i never do it, too much hassle, i take the train' (being cleverer than the average bear!)

 What a classic that one is, but there are just so many. Totally my sort of humour is Clips on H&J. As i have said, they are keeping me going. and they are top blokes the pair of them.

Agreed, absolute quality!  Their Friday 'clips of the week' slot is legendary.

The first thing i ask when I go up to a bar in a pub is "what sort of penis have you got?

Stay safe, Mike Parry you make me laugh a lot too, Mr. Porky P.

  6. I know Talksport gets a lot of stick from people, and I get that and if you if you want to use this thread to knock the station, who am I to stop you BUT

I've had these guys on every day since all this crap has been going on  and to be honest,  they are keeping me half sane.

Their humour is quality, and I just wanted to see if there are many fans like me out there on OTIB.

Seeing the weather girls is one of the remaining perks of this lockdown

True. Does that cute little blonde one still do them on the BBC? Not really short-haired, but not long-haired either. Petite little thing, well cute. Don't know her name.

If someone puts up a picture, I'd know her straight away. She can still do her job, I'd let her off.

It is the most beautiful of evenings and I’m sat on the decking in the garden enjoying a nice few beers after being told our work is shutting down until this virus is done and dusted.Just looked at the weather and seems to be a lovely few days to relax and chill in the sun,I would invite you around to enjoy my garden and hospitality @AppyDAZE but I’m strict when it comes to social distancing so nobody is allowed within 2000 metres of me and my beer

Thanks @joe jordans teethI had my walk, I'm alright...  and it's getting a bit chilly already. On the matter of having a drink, I think I'm sorted for that too.

Depending on how long this thing lasts, i think there may be one or two more "Tommys" appearing on OTIB over the next few months.
