Have we just entered a new period in the history of Bristol City
AppyDAZE replied to Top Robin's topic in Football Chat
A totally different thing. We're not taking the piss out of anyone, as they were us, we're just enjoying a great little run. Long may it continue! -

I've heard him too. FORward! Middle, towards the back of Dolman. Annoying. -

Great finish. Well done, Andi

5 young musicians (aged only circa 22 years old) at the top of their game. Incredible music.

Controversial, I know but... Oasis / Gallaghers Decidedly average band, one trick ponies, worst and most hackneyed guitar playing/solos in rock history, made a mint from selling old rope. Obnoxious, stroppy, cocky northern know it alls known for slagging off bands who are far more talented than thermselves, and therefore total *******. All about opinions, and this is mine.

Excellent post. -
More like a dead chick in the nest.

Oh, I do hope so.

His men, there were more often than not two of them on him.

Not sure if you were at the game but he actually did both tonight anyway. Always on the front foot, exciting, A big fan of Nigel, but I think Manning is more likely to get the best from him. People always start writing these types off far too quickly . I'd be amazed if this young man doesn't go on to have a great career. He believes in himself and that is half the battle, Best player on the pitch tonight no question.
-
Manning deserves lots of credit already imo. Let's be honest, lots of us, me included, were thinking who is this bloke to replace Nigel Pearson and so unfairly? Well he has, and to his credit , seems to have put all the noise behind him and just gotten on with the job. Yes, he isn't exactly Mr exciting, but in lots of ways that is refreshing in itself. I wish you all the best, Liam COYR and let's all get behind him and the lads in 2024.

There's a lot of talent there, Dave. Harnessed right and I think we've found a diamond. Really exciting to watch when he is on it.

Not got mine mate, I've got the 3pts, it's Liam whose knickers are twisted tonight. And if you know him, he has always had a dig at us ever since leaving. Strange as at BCFC it is where it all started for the bloke. His choice. An intelligent guy and well presented, but often has to have his snidey comment, particularly regarding BCFC. Other than that, a top bloke

Agreed, everyone sees it differently. Enjoy the 3pts, merry Xmas to you and your family , frenchred

You don't think we deserved to win then You're entitled to your opinion, i think we were well worthy of it.
-
The fact that they were in total control. Total bollocks. They were given a penalty for NOTHING. Can't remember Max having much to do. He was making it sound like a robbery, it wasn't at all. Hey, if you think we were lucky, how can i argue. Agree to disagree mate

Hull manager Liam Rosenior told BBC Radio Humberside: "I'm not being disrespectful to Bristol City but at the moment they scored the second goal we shouldn't concede, we were in complete control of the game. "I thought we showed again a really good resilience and character to come back. They get a penalty, we respond really well and get two goals and in that moment, and in the second half especially, we felt we controlled the game in our shape and with the ball. "But for two really really poor moments we end up losing the game. No mention of a penalty for his side tthat was a complete joke. Awwww Liam , Bristol born and bred, but he always manages to have a little dig doesn't he? 3 points mate, we'll take the 3 points.
-
He was sort of doing the right thing by keeping the ball and not rushing, but executed it wrong. A very worrying moment, and so Bristol City as we totally deserved the win tonight. Other than that one bit, it was great to see the old head back... Old head, ark at me
-
Agreed, and I also love all the fist pumping celebrations after FT, I think it breeds positivity. I thought tonight was excellent, especially 2nd half. Take the plaudits, Liam they are well deserved.
