  1. One change to the MD20, as eligible again Gardner-Hickman takes a spot on the bench at the expense of Knight-Lebel. Weimann’s expected return is delayed, hopefully just further caution. Injured: Atkinson McCrorie Benarous Weimann Conway
  2. I've no idea to be fair. 4 so far this month though, including a 5-0, so they do happen.
  3. Would be lovely to thrash them. Ultimately if we win, I don't really care how, but we're really not a team for handing out a pasting. I'd imagine we're well below the league average for wins by a 3+ margin over the past few years, our games are almost always tight.
  4. As soon as seeing this thread was hot I fully assumed Han-Noah had come on for Burnley and scored with his first touch. Not in the squad as it turns out, but wouldn’t that have been vintage Bristol City?
  5. I don’t think I’d change the back 4 off the back of a clean sheet and the midfield is thin so no changes there, injury allowing. Bell and Sykes both very dangerous so they stay. The one change I’d consider is giving Cornick a start centrally over Nahki. I think he gives us something different and many fans have turned far too quickly on him.
  6. Nothing new today, a few bumps and bruises as ever but nothing that should affect Tuesday. It’s a good point, WBA are never to be taken lightly. It’ll be a better point if we can follow it up with a first league win at AG this season in 3 days time ?️? Injured: Atkinson McCrorie Benarous Weimann Conway
  7. WBA, always full of star quality, and we took a point where we struggle - at the Gate. Yes we shoulda took a lead in the first half but probably shoulda conceded in the second so. Credit to the defence and Max today on a big clean sheet.
  8. Two new names from the Matchday squad that played Swansea, as we name a full 20 (we named 19 Vs Swansea), and as TGH misses out through ineligibility. The two in are Knight-Lebel and Nelson, who take spots on the bench. Nelson’s a new one to me, exciting! Injured: Atkinson McCrorie Benarous Weimann Conway
  9. All good man! Thanks for the write up of the meeting.
  10. Disappointing but not surprising. It seemed a little too good to be true when the WBA match was earmarked for his return, given it's a reoccurrence of an ongoing thing.
  11. Ah I see. @phantom is this what you meant? A laugh react gets me nowhere!
  12. I don't think vague teasers can be considered feedback ? if you've been given info you can't divulge (which I don't really get considering you represent a supporters group), I think you're best off saying nothing until you can say everything, just for the sake of peoples sanity
  13. Just re-read the kit update from early August, I remembered it as reading the away kit was due 'early September' (which is a bit more ambiguous and gives some leeway) but it actually stated it'd be 'delivered at the beginning of September'. So they have simply missed a self-reported deadline by 13 days, a deadline you'd imagine they added a bit of padding to in case of problems. I'd be so fascinated to hear the tale of this kits development and (eventual) release, it does not feel like it has run smoothly ? Shoulda ****** the whole thing off and just promoted the yellow kit to away kit for the season. Odds of an opponent kit clashing with our yellow and red kits are so low.

    England

Quirky XI but ‘auld enemy’ or not, it’s a friendly, so time to try some things out. Good experience for Dunk and Guehi in a position where we’re a bit thin. Ramsdale has earned minutes. And still plenty of elite talent in Walker, Rice, Bellingham, Rashford, Foden and Kane, so I’m hopeful we’ll do them relatively comfortably.

    England

Been saying it to mates for a few months now, but so it’s etched in the annals of history: We win the Euros next summer. Stones, Rice, Bellingham, Kane and Saka are all world class (Rice the only maybe but I’ll give him the benefit). Pickford, Ramsdale, Reece James (if fit), Trent (if used right), Walker, Shaw, Chilwell, Eze, Foden, Grealish, Sterling and post-ban Ivan Toney all excellent. 8 who have good seasons to pad out the rest. This isn’t even blind optimism because it’s England, I’ve often said ‘it’s coming home’ but usually then whispered ‘if we avoid w, x, y and z somehow..’. This time I just think we have the best squad, barring maybe our southern friends in France, who I’m convinced we run mighty close. Anyway that’s 9 months away, up Nige’s mighty cider drinking reds ?️
  16. Fwiw I use it to mean ‘that was useful information, thank you’. Apart from on the original post here, where it just felt needed.
  17. I was having problems with the allocating tickets thing, it was saying my pops had 'exceeded his allowance' which wasn't true, I'd only allocated him one and he's a ST holder. Regardless, he's tried his end and secured us two. Take a point now! COYR.
  18. Looking at FBREF, he has the joint 5th highest save percentage in the league, and he's overperforming his post-shot xg, which is to say he's let in fewer goals than the shots he's faced suggest he should. And while not perfect from crosses, he's doing ok there too. Doing well and a big upgrade on Bentley imo, from our own academy nonetheless.
  19. @Never to the dark side might be very keen. Thoughtful of his brothers.
  20. Lucky they blurred out the bush in the background. Hear he's got a record.
