That’s as maybe. I was responding to a post saying that SL wants his money back. That’s about £200m.
And all we do is moan.

Equivalent to SL as the amount I have In my £2’s piggy bank.

The 'Kevin Mabbutt Striker' logo 😁

Could be wrong but I’m sure the logo was on a white Lotus Espirit not a TR7, anyone remember?

  3. So Leicester get promoted this season then get deducted enough points to get re relegated the next ,get financially rewarded for cheating and getting relegated to the championship but have the financial advantage to get promoted straight back again, it’s all a bit daft really.

  4. As mentioned above it was fine before it was “ upgraded “ , now it’s just like the Bristol Post website ……..not user friendly, much better here for updates and news.

He definitely didn't have a full week's training last week, players must have had Tuesday off, what with TGH at Cheltenham, and also seeing Zak Vyner put away a few cocktails and glasses of wine Monday night in a bristol restaurant

Think I’d have a drink problem working under the current management

  6. I just can’t understand what he’s investing for?
He’s not getting any younger and I wouldn’t want my decades of work left to “ nice but dim “ to squander on private jets to Bermuda or wherever they hide when the going gets tough.

My Hail Mary is that SL’s increased visibility at the last two games is borne out of fear that Jon, Brian & Liam are seriously risking any potential sale price and having shown he doesn’t want to be hands on anymore, he employs competent professionals to protect his asset’s value.

I know it’s probably the natural thing to do , but why would he feel the need to protect “his” assets? The guy’s got more money than he could ever enjoy.
As we’ve witnessed over the last few years his empire is definitely not in safe hands when he passes so why not break up Bristol Sport and gift the “Football “ground back to Bristol City, make the club a viable proposition for a new owner/ investors.

All very simplistic I know but no City fan is going to remember the Lansdown’s for any good they’ve achieved under their ownership if this carries on.
