I actually think new owners might put them in administration to clear the debt then rebuild separately cant see any other way of reducing the enormous cost of the redevelopment
-
In terms of a commercial redevelopment then no problem but when you factor in large cash draining construction that doesn’t generate the returns that other industry’s would it seems odd. That said theyre still staring at about 100 million to get in a fully built stadium with infrastructure. That’s whilst their loosing 3 million a year

Even if they sale the mem and don’t have to give the owners the cash back even if a consortium has bought the land and given them to them even if the council have said crack on start tomorrow that’s exactly what we need even if no one, not one person objects even if an enormous engineering project built on an old industrial site next to a river will go swimmingly they still need to find 40-50 million to build whilst loosing 5 million a year, and having to play at Weston bear in mind a recent transfer fell through as 20k was too steep Even if they sale the mem and don’t have to give the owners the cash back even if a consortium has bought the land and given them to them even if the council have said crack on start tomorrow that’s exactly what we need even if no one, not one person objects even if an enormous engineering project built on an old industrial site next to a river will go swimmingly they still need to find 40-50 million to build whilst loosing 5 million a year, and having to play at Weston bear in mind a recent transfer fell through as 20k was too steep

Their best outfield player by far, they will get peanuts for him and probably replace him with some dog turd non league player, their spiralling down fast

No comment needed « Prev 1 Next » Antonio Fargas Moderator 1 minute ago Quote Not sure if anyone will agree with this, but istm if we were in the Prem we would have more money to spend on players, and there would be a chance that more potential fans would turn up to games, coz of the (supposed) higher profile of the Premier league. Just an idea, anyway.
