Off the ball head-butt according to Taylor on Radio Bristol!
Thinking about it, you don't often see an on the ball head-butt. Would take some doing.

Some amazing scenes at the end. Very jealous of those supporters.
Anyone feeling brave enough to tell this guy the championship trophy looks like a pimps hubcap...

Top of the table clash next week then.
Another side with plenty to play for. At least our end of season hasn't all been dead rubbers.

Especially when you consider the amount of money this squad has cost us. Of course it isn’t a pin point indicator but the purchase value of our squad is something like 16/17th in the league.
To expect good performance every single week in one of the hardest leagues in europe, without being one of the top spenders is just silly imo. For a Leicester fan it’s understandable, not for us.
As the saying goes, a sign of a good team is when they pick up points even when they aren’t playing well. Had a very good last few games, off the mark today and without a recognised CB yet still getting points is a plus imo, just have to make sure those performances are a rarity.
Realistically i think Manning has done enough to deserve the summer. That doesn’t mean i think he will suddenly shoot us into playoffs next year, I still think we will finish somewhere between 10-16th. But I see 0 point in changing manager at this time. Give the man a chance and let’s see what happens.
Don’t share the view of some that we should be really worried for next season. But it is Bristol City after all
I agree George.
We are what we are and whilst I don't accept our mediocrity at this level, I can tolerate it.
Been going since 85 so perhaps my tolerance and expectation levels have been tempered with time but for me, if we make a top 10 finish or even flirt with the play offs in the Champ we've probably done well for ourselves when you take the passion and desire as a supporter out of the perspective.

Back to back to back decent refs. Brace yourselves for the next couple!

Why can't I want us to play well all the time?
You can want that but I don't think it's unfair to say that to expect Bristol City FC at this level to provide that is both unrealistic and somewhat naive.

Amazing result. Can't believe the top 3 keep choking. Southampton must be delighted.

If that's a concourse, I've got one under my stairs

He’s very good, isn’t he?
Top drawer again today, 3 clean sheets on the spin.
Well done to him.
Pretty much single handedly (plus feet and his other hand) made us worth the point today.
Also been looking very strong on crosses and balls in of late.
Keep it up Max, good stuff.

You'd struggle to pick a decent outfield player today. Descion making was poor, we were terrible in transition and couldn't execute a meaningful pass pretty much all game.
Big pat on the back for Max, the only reason we got a point today, he deserved it.

83 consecutive games? Wonder what the record is at city for consecutive games played? Anyone know?
I don't know the answer but Aden Flint had a good run from recent memory.

Annoying we've not taken one of numerous good chances but that was a good half.
Think we should of had that pen shout as well.

Nice to see him score and assist. For balance he also missed a good chance 1 on 1 with the keeper but i blame Manning for that one

He suits their one up top style much better than Conway though.
Jacob Brown and Kevin Nisbet also ahead of Conway. He's some way down the pecking order and not pulling up any trees this season in our new system so can't see it happening unfortunately.
Agree he needs a better season to raise that profile and get himself in contention.
The competition is there but if I were TC I'd look at those ahead and feel confident I could get in the side.
Maybe he needs a move to fully realise his potential

If Dykes can keep getting called up, there is surely hope for Tommy. Not exactly blessed with talent in that area of the pitch are they.
Forwards: Che Adams (Southampton), Lyndon Dykes (QPR), Lawrence Shankland (Hearts).

Literally slagging us off every few mins.
Makes Owers look like broadcaster of the year. At least he's fair and not biased.
That was pathetic.

Our best 45 in a while whilst far from being great. Subs made a difference today.
An important 3pts above all else.

Not expecting miracles but we need to turn up tonight at least.
Long overdue even a decent 45.
-
Two teams who look like they are going nowhere this season.
So flat again. Form has gone off a cliff since Southampton.
Can we please just put in one good half for a change.
