  1. Nothing misleading at all. We had most of the ball and did sweet FA with it.
  2. He won't be affored the same liberties LJ was given for a poor run thats for sure.
  3. Hopefully GJ left a box of hand grenades lying around in the changing room.
  4. Losing individual battles again. Loose passes and poor touches...again!
  5. Nice to see Han Noah get a start. Hope he puts in a performance that keeps him in the side. COYR

    Nagy

I'd bet Sunderland will be interested.
  7. Sad news indeed. Belive he had been unwell for many years following quite severe heart surgery. That UEFA Cup final against Alaves with the golden goal winner was a classic. RIP.
  8. It all made sense after a victory. Pre match or preser, far more interesting. Glad to see the back of his post match stuff in all honesty Wl or D.
  9. Said the very same to the Mrs when she walked in and i told her how we got on. It is what it is.
  10. Would of been a tough trip for our away support today, that's for sure.
  11. Some. DH himself won't make excuses, i just think he's doing well all things considered.
  12. Performance and results perhaps, not seen a real streak yet though either way. As people, they couldn't be more contrasting. Personally i warm to Dean and think he's done well amidst injuries, covid outbreak and congested fixtures. Pressure has certainly clicked up a number after today's performance but i still have faith.
  13. Exactly that and i stand by primitive without being disrespectful to them. Pressed hard, battled really well for both 1st and 2nd balls and launched everything forward. Credit to them. As i posted in the match thread, we didn't even earn the right to play which is a real concern. Massively disappointed and frustrated in equal measure tonight.
  14. Completely out played by the most primitive style of opponent we've faced for a while and we didn't come close to completing with them. Same players competed with and beat Blackburn. No excuses.
  15. Fair to say Rotherham have imposed their game well on us. We need to battle harder for the 1st/2nd balls. It's cliche, but we haven't earned the right to play. Still think we are capable of turning this around. Changes needed HT though.

    Dean Holden

I think it shows incredible resilience. It's enough for some to want to give up all together. Every parents worst nightmare. Says a lot about him, his family and friends to come through that. In some way I'm sure it drives him on to succeed and is very much a part of who he is.
  17. Whatever line up/ formation tonight, if we are not on it i can see us getting well beat. Lets bounce back (again). COYR
  18. Brings back a lot of memories of Football Italia on C4. Seems almost every team had one. Baggio was incredible, was talking about him at length the other week after Maradona passed away. Rui Costa was another that came up in that conversation. Zidane is still the greatest of that era for me though. Certainly a golden age for the no. 10.
  19. @Never to the dark side Is the man for this i believe but sure to be others interested.
  20. For me, and I'm not even a huge follower of golf but the most listenable of any sports commentators in my lifetime. Won't be the same tuning into a Masters, Open or Ryder Cup ever again. RIP
