  1. At HT it just looked like we needed to find another gear. Brum were rank average. We found it for the 1st few mins 2nd half, after that everything seemed hard work going forward.

    Sam Bell

As @GrahamC said in the match day thread, it makes you feel old seeing him come through. Only seems like yesterday, Bell and Tins were linking up beautifully on our left hand side. Lets hope we see more of Bell Jr.
  3. Wasted opportunity for 3pts if you ask me. Brum looked the most average side we have faced. Despite some decent individual performances, whilst it's 0-0 there's always a chance that will happen. Disappointing and frustrating.
  4. They are there for the taking. Need to get a grip and stop the sloppy passing.
  5. Thought Bakinson might come in for Brunt. Apart from that, no surprises.
  6. Saw the headlines but didn't read into the details until now and then see on here that one of our own has been affected by this. Bloody awful. Sincere condolences.
  7. If it's Johnson then the club can just get ****** for me. I despised PP but I'm going to despise this super nomark even more. Cue.... write him off before he's started yada yada yada... I was right about Grayson, I was right about Parkinson and I'm right about this fucknut, if he is in fact appointed.
  8. Got sent that yesterday, great stuff. I was looking at it for ages before i realised it was Philly's most famous lanscape gardeners This followed about an hour after, some true greats this year...
  9. Started to leave early once. City v Kingstonian in the FA Cup, probably 20 years ago now. 1 down and on the verge of an upset, got up in the Dolman to leave on 90 mins, just heading down the steps, could hear we were building an attack, turned around and Tony Thorpe scrambled one in with what was the last kick of the game. I think we struggled to beat them in the replay as well but lesson learned that day.
  10. I was in secondary school between 87-92, it was bloody awful! Things improved after of course and we've long since sat apart from them but I will never ever forget those days. FTG.
  11. Bentley has it just right. Doesn't quite take the piss enough for a yellow but milks every play.
  12. I was expecting something more like Brian Tinnion. Colour me disappointed.
  13. Sure but emphasis on the left side. I don't like him in the middle of the pitch.
  14. Happy enough with that. Good to have Kalas back and assuming Brunt is left side of the 3, he should be more comfortable there. COYR
  15. 3-5-2 with Wells and Martin up top. Fatigue and fitness pick the rest but id expect Mariappa to probably get a start today if Kalas is still out.
  16. Decent draw. Always good to be at home and Pompey will be no push over. Could be a good cup match. Cracking draw for Marine.
  17. Feel a little bit sorry for Darlington. Fair play to them trying to keep playing their game. No doubt the Gas will claim they are world beaters. I don't think they've actually played that well considering the level of the opposition.
  18. Well thats that. Unlucky Darlo, they were playing well and looking good until the 2nd.
  19. Haha and the usual pen. 3-0 certainly flatters them.
  20. What a gift that was. Darlo looking comfortable and playing some decent stuff though.
  21. Nice. I quite like the idea of supporting a fan owned smaller club. I mean, we're all Darlo today right? Game is on BBC website and red button. Hopefully an enjoyable cupset.
  22. Around a lot longer than i thought... https://www.efl.com/news/2019/february/winter-ball-to-be-used-for-the-last-time/ The EFL's Official Match Ball for the winter period will be used for the last time this week. Introduced 21 years ago during the 1998/99 season, the yellow ball was brought in for the period between the end of October and the end of March, when adverse weather conditions are more likely to occur. Though it will continue to be used in the event of snow, tonight's EFL and Checkatrade Trophy fixtures will bring an end to its use in a seasonal sense. The
  23. Christ, bin that performance off and move on. That was dire.
  24. Bar the defence dealing with the pressure we keep inviting on ourselves by giving sloppy passes away, that was shite.
