Very mature and solid 45 by Israel, good goal to. England well off it.
  2. Indeed. I do think there is some possible succession planning being considered. Keep your options open at least.
  3. Potential manager for us in years to come?
  4. Seen it many times on here. When stuff gets real, football goes out the window. Just one big family and a bunch of decent people. Keep posting ITN and best wishes to you.
  5. Good move for him. Might be as high a level as he ever plays but with a tidy sell on clause in there we are well covered if he does start banging them in. Best of luck Psycho!
  6. Was half expecting...be on the red button? Pin a thread on that this season please mods ?

That's a lovely strike to pull one back.

Israel 1 up v France at HT in the other semi.
  10. Remember him as a player. Seems he's spent the last 10 years coaching at Charlton. Most recently as a first team coach. A surprise addition. Presume this is full time and perm?

Brilliant comeback. Well done England and AS. Shout out to both keepers who I thought played well.

Pretty even really. Can see AS on early 2nd half.
  15. The irony of a Bakinson thread causing disharmony. Perhaps we can send it on loan somewhere, it's got no future here.

Putting it simply, he looks incredibly comfortable at this level, which is no surprise after the season he's had. Hopefully still with us next season and he gets an u21 call up.
  17. LA or Cardiff, a real Sophie's choice right there! ?
  18. Maybe more departures, a lot of that driven by players themselves. HNM, wants him to stay, doesn't want to see him run contract down,. players dictate their own future's. Semenyo - no time frame, being patient. Baker - as per the Baker thread. King - Investing time in the right people, future manager/coach, can still contribute as a player. Benarous - getting exposure to senior team mates during rehab, he's around the place. Williams- trains hard, fit right now. Would benefit from a full season. Important player for us, good points return when in the side. Season ahead - maximising what we have. Consistency and being competitive the aim. New players help, development still important. Wants to be in and around the promotion race.

Thought he'd start tonight. Good news.
  20. After putting pen to paper at Oakwell today, Robbie told us: “I’m delighted to be here. “It’s been in the pipeline for a few weeks now. I’m happy to get it over the line and I can’t wait to get started. “First and foremost, I’m a defender. I’m going to win my headers. I like to play out when I can and hopefully, we can do that this season.” Barnsley FC CEO, Khaled El-Ahmad added: “We are happy that we have secured Robbie’s services, despite interest from other clubs. “Robbie brings Championship experience with him and provides us with another option in the defensive positions. He has proven in the past that he can overcome adversity and will add leadership qualities to the group. “We wish him the best of luck in his time here at Oakwell.” Best of luck to him. Worked hard to get where he is and a 2 year deal at a club where he'll probably play each week is fair reward.
  21. I think Cov fans will be happy with that signing, perhaps as much as most of us are to see him move on. Thats another tick against our transfer business so far.
