  1. I'll never forget his late winner in this one...
  2. Darren Ferguson gets it... "...he is ready for this step-up to a team that is trying to get into the Championship."
  3. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/53911105 Can't see Barca standing in his way. He will be clapped out of the door to continue his career with whichever club he chooses, fee or no fee.
  4. Also free on BT Sport Ultimate, which is channel 531 on Virgin Media, not sure about other providers.
  5. He doesn't mess about does he? Straight into a tackle and then he's off or picking a pass. Good stuff, he should compliment our midfield well.
  6. I'm going for 8pm tonight.
  7. Got a feeling hes going to be an important player for us. No reason at all Morrell and Walsh can't be involved next season. Proven? No. Ready to prove themselves? Yes.
  8. Condolences fellow red. That was a lovely post though and whilst sad, it's nice to hear about another great Dad who continued the City supporting legacy in his family as mine did for me and probably the majority of us as well. A touching tribute. Sorry for your loss.
  9. Gone with a different betting firm then this season.
  10. Very good example of needing to take your chances when they come along or you get punished. Nice strike from Gnabry.
  11. Happy with that. Home against lower league is about as good as it gets at this point.
  12. If there was such a record for most step overs in a season, it would still be his.
  13. The inlaws and a few friends are all OL supporters, some are season ticket holders and ultras "les bad gones", so absolute scenes over there the other night. They would love nothing more than to stick one over Paris in the final i can guarentee you that! They seem delighted to still be in it and even reach a semi final in reality. No real superstars in the side bar Depay's ego and a solid reputation for bringing through native talent. Good club, they've done well to get this far. Best of luck to them, they will certainly need some against Bayern.
  14. David Seal scored a few crackers. Vaguely remember a thumping volley from outside the box at home to Bournemouth(?).
  15. Knew he would get a deal with another Champ club but he's done very well for himself there both personally and professionally. Best of luck to him.
  16. If he really wanted to follow in his father's footsteps, he should be well up the corporate ladder at Hargreaves Lansdown by now. Given the choice, I'm sure we would all want to be involved with the football club rather than a career in financial services. I just don't think SL or MA are particularly good mentors. JL is in a privileged position but he has a choice, he doesn't have to be front and centre, at least not yet perhaps. Step aside, stay involved, learn more and then take up the reigns when good and ready. If another club interviewed for the chairman position today woul

Jesus, now he's blaming SL. Squirm.

    Yep, Paxmanesque.
  19. Absolutely agree. Proper proud, no nonsense northerner. You wont get any Johnsonisms type nonsense. I like him and hope he does a great job.
  20. @TomF Pedal faster, stick another 50p in the meter and redirect power to shields. She's gonna need it.
