  1. We've all the ingredients for success. What better man than Cook to produce a promotion pie.* *other food types are available** **does not include relegation sandwiches
  2. I'm seeing an angle for a new series. A cider on...
  3. Shit, all bets are on again.
  4. I still cant get past the fact you can't bet on it. If there is still speculation around who and multiple candidate's being interviewed then why no bets available? Are they basing it solely on Talksport, Daily Mail going early and saying it's his?
  5. Norrkoping might want 20% as well
  6. If there are still 8 candidates being interviewed then why aren't bookies taking bets? All sounds like typical Bristol Live bollocks to me.
  7. It's more of the same, Bristol Live has learned, Bristol Live understands, according to our sources and so on. Bloke doesn't know bugger all about this if you ask me. Very few people will.
  8. It's like the Mark Bunn thread all over again.
  9. If he has the option to stay, might be tempting to have a couple more years learning from a reputable manager. Could be some exciting times on the horizon. Certainly would not be surprised to see him and JMc in at a L1/L2 club though.
  10. 1/4 for CH, everyone else drifting.
  11. Interesting comments from him at about 8 mins in and asked about his philosophy. Couldn't play expansive football with Brighton in the Prem, too risky but no problem if you have a team with the right players for that type of style. If anything he sounded averse to risk and a realist rather than preferring a duller more defensive setup as some Brighton supporters have suggested.
  12. Football is brutal sometimes. 96 min OG and you miss out on goal diff. Incredible.
  13. I sensed that as well. He's a proud man and he's conducted himself impeccably during his caretaker role. If he's not going to be here next season i don't think he'd have any trouble getting a managers job down the leagues. Seems like a good guy to me.
  14. Hughton or Gerrard would be big for us. The guy is way out of our reach and for most Prem sides. Always up for some debate but this has been rightfully laughed at.
  15. Very good. Did enjoy Campbell flipping the bird.
  16. I agree and i think the term "had a stroll" sums up the main weakness in his game.

    Obviously reads a 1 star Post not a 2 or 3
  18. Even Messi ain't got one of those!
  19. Could well be exactly that gents.
  20. I don't think they did. They sacked him safe in the knowledge there are plenty of capable replacements out there and that the role and the timing itself would generate a fair few applications.
  21. I think we've done some of our best business when something is announced out of nowhere or very late. The club do seem to go about their work quietly these days. Hoping for the same here.
  22. Oh come on. Of all the posters on here you could accuse of not knowing much about football, you call out @Davefevs? Laughable. Only damaging your own reputation with that sort of nonsense.
  23. Steve Bruce? Sunderland to Hull then promoted?
