  1. Bristol City or Nottingham Forrest? With completely different starts to the season, City won the first 4 and Forrest lost the first 4 City chose a manager who knew the players and got us off to a great start, but not the most popular choice when many fans were looking for a proven manager to take us to the next level. Forrest had a disastrous start and chose the proven manager with a track record of success at this level. Time will tell, but who would your money be on?
  2. totally agree, three moments to define a manager and a team 1 - Flint not going back into defence 2 - Fielding making stupid error (partly caused by 1) 3 - Pack thinking he was Cruyff and costing us the points It really hasn't been the same since and all enjoyment of going to Ashton Gate was gone! Hopefully a new manager will bring back the pride in the team and club
  3. two encounters stand out, both quite random. the first was when I was booked into a hotel near Bournemouth about 5 years ago and after a long drive and a late arrival I headed to the bar for a beer and got chatting to the barman and turns out he was an avid City fan and had a great chat about the current form of the team. Most recent was November last year while in Earls Court in the Jurys Inn and sat in the bar watching football and sat next to a guy. Long story short, he was a city fan and we were both ex managers of junior football teams in the avon Youth league. A great conversation a
  4. Thanks for the code, much appreciated
  5. I would be interested in one ticket/code for the match Cheers
  6. It looks like Matty is going and such a shame, but was never going to be a starting player. There were times last season when he looked really good. I am just a little disappointed with the level of players we are signing and want to see someone come into the team that will provide a real step up in quality.
  7. just posting my opinion, a big step up in quality and pace of game from what he was used to. Really hope he does well though.
  8. Only saying what I saw today. I do hope he is a success and scores 20 goals this season
  9. First time I have seen him play today and underwhelmed. He looked out of his depth. Is he really a better option than Matty?
  10. I probably go to about 40-45 live matches a year and includes CL as well as FGR and City ST, but just fancied a bit more choice in what I pay to go and watch. I will probably go to about 6-10 City matches this season and will follow on sky, as well. I pays my money and takes my pick!
  11. I didn't renew after 3 seasons as a ST holder. I have overall enjoyed the last 3 seasons, but the level of enthusiasm started to drop badly in the second half of last season and missed a few games when I could have gone, but didn't. I appreciate football can be frustrating and you can never guarantee attacking, exciting and winning football, but there were many pretty poor games and an inevitability about missing out on P/O again. I will go to matches this season, but have decided to get a rugby S/T for the first time ever. The price is less than half, get to see a number (not as many match
  12. Spurs bottling it again!!!!! OMG what a game
  13. the Gary Johnson incident was on sky tonight. Lee took a kick back to the keeper and scored, when he should have been returning possession, leading to the walk in goal, Yeovil ended up winning 3-2 and Lee got a hat trick...….
