  1. I see that type of list get made every week on Twitter, and surprise surprise, every team is in a different bracket most times. Far too many variables, like how did your team perform, how many times have you been, what team did you play, was it a meaningful game for you and/or the opposition, do you already have a predisposed like/dislike for the opposition, and so on. Not to mention we all seem to have different standards on what makes a good atmosphere.
  2. Thought Lez was a bit disrespectful to the pod with his constant starring at the phone, getting up and walking off, and showing no interest in listening when others were speaking. Also think when Tom isn't on, everyone is pretty much singing from the same hymn sheet, so hoping the next guest will have some differing views to encourage more debate.
  3. That was more satisfying than the Leicester win for me. We already know we can put a performance in against the big teams, but to put such a controlled performance in like that against a struggling team was badly needed at this point. Good stuff City
  4. Yeah, bit over the top that mate. Matty is the ultimate pro and currently fighting for a new contract, not exactly going to be slating Manning in public, is he.
  5. The current state of this club is so depressing that it's even got me dreading what a win would look like at this point.
  6. If he does get the boot this season, the Tinman interview that follows will be quite something, even for his standards.

    Emotion

Given the constraints Nige had with bringing in new players, he had no choice but to build and mould a team that was all about passion/emotion/work ethic. So what does this club do? Bring in a new guy who quickly strips us of our main strength and turns us into an absolute soft touch. Infuriating.
  8. "We didn't lose today because of tactics, players need to step up"... I'm done with this guy. How about you step up for once and lead by example.
  9. Truly dreading next season. Players look completely lost.
  10. Think first goal will be big today. Need to match the intensity we had at Ipswich, or half the crowd will be in the concourse by minute 30.
  11. The level of work rate shown feels more important than points for me tonight, even with only being 6 points off the drop. If the boys aren't willing to run through brick walls after the last few performances, I'll be very worried about where we're heading under Manning.
  12. Got to be Tinman's song for me. Loved belting that out as a kid.
  13. Yeah but I have £2.50 to play with now, you think I wouldn't hire a top legal team with that money and fight Lansdown in court over this?
  14. I must of got lucky with a glitch 2nd time around then. Didn't think it would go through but got a confirmation email...
  15. Have they knocked fees on the head now? I definitely seen a £1.25 fee when I first put them in my basket, but after doing some messing around and putting them back in the basket a 2nd time, no fees?
  16. That's great to know. Thanks for sharing.
  17. Another ticket just appeared on the website if any STH is looking for one. Now up to 29 CATs coaches going too
  18. Highlight of the podcast for me was seeing Tovey's reactions to being ignored when putting his hand up to speak.
  19. Was all about results when Nige was in charge, now it's changed to just wanting to be entertained with fast attacking football, even if we lose. Tbf though, they do bring people on who have quite differing opinions to how they see things, so credit to them for that.
  20. Pathetic how fragile this football club is to criticism. Noticed comments during the live press conference quickly getting deleted, and they didn't even include any big bad "naughty" words.
  21. Will be an extra depressing trip home if we manage to lose to bottom of the table today, given the utter shambles we've had to endure this week. No doubt a number of the players will be feeling just as let down as many of us fans do. Just hope we can make some good noise for Nige, as well as getting behind this hard working team, that the man himself has helped cultivate.
  22. Lets be real, football fans are inpatient at the best of times these days, but given the circumstances of the last few days at this club, the new manager will have to hit the ground running. Massive pressure on whoever comes in.
  23. Really hope we can set the tone with a high tempo straight from the off. Win today and there's gonna be a proper buzz going into that Argyle game. COYR!
