Traditionally regulations are normally changed to slow down a dominant team rather than provide closer racing. It happened in the 90’s to slow down Williams then Ferrari, Red Bull and now Mercedes Red Bulls current dominance is somewhat exaggerated by the DRS which provides easy fake overtakes Actually 2021 leaves more of a sour taste, not so much because of Abu Dhabi but because there was a unplanned regulation change gave Red Bull an advantage

Weirdly Spurs were home to Palace at 3pm yesterday

I just assumed it was stuck on season tickets

Apparently gift vouchers have ‘sold out’ now so the whole scheme is waste of time and effort as how can you run out of sending someone a digital code? ??

And yet they had lots of unsold seats in other parts of the ground..

Half of them left after 20 minutes, maybe reward those who stayed till the bitter end

This and the fact that the two Hollywood actors chose to buy Wrexham in the first place after everything their fans had been through is the fairytale

Assume in years to come Notts County will be the answer to a quiz question of a side with over 100 points and didn’t go up automatically (or at all if they mess up a the playoffs)

Is this not unfair state subsidy??
East Londoner replied to Mr Popodopolous's topic in Football Chat
Personally find Cardiff and Swansea being given free/very heavily subsidised stadiums more galling. Swansea were struggling in the bottom two tiers but get gifted a new stadium and within a few years are in the top flight. And Cardiff went from being heavily in debt in an old stadium to also getting to the premier league It’s also strange how they give they whole proud to be welsh thing but not proud enough to play in the welsh league -
Whole of the Bakerloo line along with the DC lines from Euston are closed all weekend. Mainline services to Watford Junction are unaffected

Watching it live from my position in the SS at first glance it looked like it had crossed the line before Cornick made sure

I’ve had a south stand season ticket for the last two seasons but in September changed my job from one where i was able to do almost all games to one where I’ve managed around 50% I looked into whether it was more cost effective to be a member and only pay for the games i can attend, but the cheapest available on a match day is the dolman wings and it works out around the same price as a season ticket which has other benefits build in. Technically I’m preventing someone from attending 50% of the time but if the club don’t sell out in the first place they’re hardly likely to offer a ticket exchange unless the club is able to resell my seat for the full price

I could see that happening

I’d have liked to have seen him replace Sykes and given 45-60 minutes

Cannot see it mentioned? Looks like we'll be flagging.

Andy Davies was a former player don’t forget… -
Did wonder if he had any early antidotes of when he played with our own tin man
-
Virtually every single overtake was DRS assisted again, so all the new regulations seem to have achieved is switch dominance from Mercedes to Red Bull
-
Just kinda felt London City wanted it more today. Did wonder if the team arriving in the Swansea team coach might be a good omen given how the men’s team were getting on but sadly not
-
Guess he’s also forgotten the countless penalties and times they’ve played against 10 in the last few years
-
Very well deserved
-
Given they charge £10 for a replacement if you lose your season card maybe they could offer that option for those without smart phones Whether they’ll then feel discriminated against is another thing..

In a way you have to give club credit for trying something different but hopefully we’re also able to give them credit for listening as it looks awful
