  1. Hopefully takes Eliassons role of next season of in and out and keeping the other wide boys on their toes if COD goes. Hes different to the other wingers we have and I think he could work well with Eliasson on one side and him on another causing full backs problems. Big season for this guy, real direct wingers are hard to come by and I think he will make the step up gradually.
  2. He's usually first to come over and clap us most away games. Think he can get a move to a side with bigger wages personally. Wait and see shall we!
  3. How Phillips or McGinn isn't in it shocks me. Brilliant for Leeds and Villa this season.
  4. Probably sell COD and brownhill and replace them with Adelakun and Walsh in the squad. Maybe sign Davies (GK) from Barnsley if he doesn't trust MOL. I do not expect massive changes or any marquee signings this summer. I would die for a creative or a centre mid who can attack and a proper centre forward instead of Weimann, Taylor etc but got to be realistic.
  5. I think Max gets a bad rub of it. I believe if Maenpaa had made those mistakes, he wouldn't get nearly as bad grief as Max seems to be getting. Not his fault we couldn't hit a barn door today.
  6. Eliasson was excellent away at Ipswich, caused them tons of problems. COD is more physical but end product for me goes to Niclas. He may get bullied off the ball sometimes but when he gets that space his delivery really is something else.
  7. Good defender, just never know if hes gunna last the whole 90 with the injuries and constant fouling.
  8. Keep him coming off the bench and see what he can do. Prefer Eliasson gets the minutes as he looks a real threat at the moment and his delivery is second to none. Would rather have one really creative outlet instead of two workhorse types like MW and COD.
  9. Pack and Watkins terrible. Barely got one pass right between them.
  10. Almost fell asleep 2nd half. Don't seem to remember one clear cut chance. I dont feel that the playing out from the back will suit us away from home. Webster caught a few times with the ball with no options or giving it away needlessly. Lacking a presence up top in terms of creating panic, space or danger. Also lacking a leader at the back. Didnt feel safe when out of possession at all. Midfield was clever and creative in the first half and thought Eliasson was a real spark for us. Some positives for me overall. Thought forest were poor and we didnt capitalise unfortunately.
  11. Would be pleased if he came in especially at that price for a very athletic full back. Always admired his performance against us and other time they've been on the TV. Great crosser, great pace, weakening another side in our division. Good competition for Pisano too!
  12. I'm just sick of the false promises. I know they want to show the fans that they are making a go at a Premier League push but their actions say otherwise. It's talk to get more season card holders and spending less on playing staff. But a marquee signing can certainly help that too which I dont think will happen. Its just of my personal opinion that I'd rather the club be honest with their stance on where they want the club to go and I can't see their pathway to do that at this moment in time, but there still is time for them to change that. Mind you it feels like I'm saying that every season.
  13. They should be interested but quality of players shows their ambition. £2m signings of strikers who are probably not up to standard does not show me their intention of getting there. Bobby had always shown quality even in midfield to be a top class player and Weimann has not shown the consistent qualities to make it as a forward at several clubs. I certainly wouldn't complain if they were honest with how they were going about their business. Don't say you're going for the Premier league and keeping the fans in tow every year with your pre season interviews and post season speeches if you're not going to go for it. Would rather be known as a progressive club from the top and not one that says one and does another.
