  1. I think it was our second goal I initially thought a derby player went to handle it before I realised on the replay it was the keeper! Surprised it was allowed to happen.
  2. “Strings to Johnson’s bow: A) philanthropist”
  3. Wells has better goals to minutes ratio than any other striker (in the top 20 or so scorers) for the championship this season. Also 29 is hardly ancient, 3 years younger than Grabban as someone else said. If we pull this off for under £5m this is a hell of a signing for me. so expect announcement that Dyche has changed his mind and decided to give wells minutes at Burnley for the rest of the season on sky sports news shortly......
  4. There is now a Russian dropping off a brief case at a Heinz factory having read his command.
  5. Both to lose please. Swans win worse for us I guess but can’t ever want anything but a Cardiff loss!
  6. To be fair I understand the point but I fear the discriminatory context is something no one else reads into the chant. I don’t think it’s the same as the lukaku situation from years ago, that was very different. I think the chant is an old one that’s been around for donkeys years and essentially is saying Kasey Palmer is so good you would let him.... you know. It’s the same with chants for crowd pleasing talented players, they always get the bigger chants as they are the reason we pay to watch football (maybe not at the moment!). KP is an exciting player who on his day is worth the season ticket alone. It’s the same way as the lee Tomlin chant should not be offensive to anyone who has religious beliefs.
  7. You are right. I apologise to Joshy and his family and anyone who may have been offended by my comments. I’m going on a hair awareness rehabilitation course.
  8. Don’t really like his hair either....
  9. I blame the tannoy in the Dolman
  10. That’s true..... as it needs two syllables for the first name or it doesn’t fit.... no other reason tho!
  11. My daughter has only been able to attend 3 games with me so far this season Swansea 0v0 Forest 0v0 Blackburn 0v2 Even was slightly late arriving yesterday so missed their first goal. She has seen us have 3 shots on target this season....
  12. Missed out as got pulled onto a work call at 10. Tried at 10.15. Sold out so quickly.
  13. When we signed him I think none of us realised how key he could be to our season. A player who Doncaster fans were not particularly fussed to lose has been 7/10 every week and has played, Cb, lb, lwb, lm, cm (probably others I’m forgetting too) and we are only 8 games into the season. I genuinely have no idea what position is the one he is meant to play. Seems a top pro as well talking to the defence all the time.
  14. Xspence

I heard Afobe is injured..... sorry wrong thread, it gets confusing....
  15. Excellent podcast. Also thought JL came across really well (frog in throat aside). A fan who gets to do what loads of us would dream of doing if we had the financial position, but still a proper fan of the club aiming to do what is best for the club. Hearing this, and looking at likes of Bury and Bolton, realise how lucky we are to have them.
