  1. On sky red button. Save your cash, players haven’t earned our money after Bournemouth shambles
  2. Reading now trying to sign andy Carroll on top of drink water and all the others. These are not restrictive signings....
  3. How are reading able to sign halilovic, Baba Rahman And Scott Dann with a supposed wage restriction of £8.5k per player. All three of them would have been on way more than that....
  4. Question needs to be asked, will he be missed? No is the answer so it’s an easy sell, especially with minimal time remaining on contract. He has his pros but I think he will very quickly be forgotten, no disrespect intended
  5. Cardiff now been added to the embargo list
  6. Although only three clubs listed, how many others are under scrutiny and likely to be added? Could have sworn I read up to 12 clubs could be in trouble
  7. Reading finally being forced to sell a player, only due to release clause, but 8 mill for loose should help them with ffp issues, or would it not even scratch the surface?
  8. Shambles they haven’t been relegated now but hopefully a huge points deduction is provided for the coming season, the transfer embargo continues and they go into the season with only 13 contracted senior players, no centre backs and a minus 20 point start so relegation beckons anyway
  9. Might provide a snagging point with the council
  10. So when will we start to see clubs in questioned actually sanctioned? i guess relegation for derby is unlikely now (god knows why it’s all taking so long to conclude what are obvious misdemeanours) are we just going to have weeks, months, years of discussions without any action ever being taken? sheff weds for example, and any club for that matter, that fails to pay their players should be struck with an immediate points sanction for the current or following season depending on if it occurs during or in off season. So why the red tape and why are clubs allowed to continue their fuckery for so long with little or no consequence?
  11. What if the likes of Swansea. Could have sworn I read a short while ago they were needing to balance the books. If they don’t go up, they surely will be forced to sell. How can they continue to fund ayew and his 80k wages? ?
  12. Right, so cutting through all the jargon and as a latest update, when can we expect reading, Derby et al to get sanctioned for their multitude of financial misgivings?
  13. Would say 5 mill rising to 10mill plus a decent sell on fee percentage included. Can’t have our pants pulled down for best prospects.
  14. So why haven’t derby been sanctioned at all yet? Didn’t they fail to pay their players at one point this season? Should have been an instant points deduction. Could derby still gain a points deduction at all and still get relegated?
  15. I’ll have derby game on sky and robins tv on the laptop and F1 qualifying in the ipad. Only watching robins tv to see more of players like Scott
  16. With all that potential leeway on spend, if we got recruitment right and signed 5-8 players of Brentford Ilk that could not only help us push for promotion but individually increase their value significantly a la Toney, it would make the spend all worth it. Recruitment is the key to this. God I hope we get it right
  17. I see it as 4-2-2-2. nagy and massengo playing the more advanced number 8’s with bakinson and Lansbury the deeper roles.
  18. Couldn’t care less about the gas and couldn’t care less about Johnson given he’s not our manager. Nothing to see here
  19. So @Mr Popodopolous, simplifying all the above which is far beyond my understanding, who out of the clubs in the championship are looking down the barrel of the gun come season end? Also, will any of the clubs gunning for promotion be in trouble should they fail to get promotion? Brentford, Swansea, reading et al. from my brief reading of this thread, sheff weds and derby potentially could be in trouble financially, Birmingham had issues, now resolved but are staring relegation in the face, I thought I read that reading could also be in trouble financially and could have resolved had they sold their left back instead of losing him on a free. swansea not long ago we’re having issues. Are they in the more financially and relying on promo to get out of it?
  20. Seems on Twitter, derby have escaped any fine/points deduction etc for any wrongdoing. Shambles if true. Just sets a precedent for all others to get away with bad financial management
  21. Honestly, I think nothing will come of this and they will be allowed to get away with it. Or at least the promoted team. If they let one get away, they can't then punish others so it's all or nothing and EFL don't have the backbone to stand up to the bigger clubs spending above their means. They afterall, probably see these big clubs as a draw for viewers to watch the EFL leagues. Hence why they get the lions share of sky action. All the clubs doing things the right way will be left questioning why bother doing things the right way when you can get away with murder to achieve the grand prize of promotion and a bottomless pit of money.
  22. Hoping west brom go up out of the play offs as I really want to see big time Charlie's Leeds, villa and Derby fail with a couple of them being questionable over finances. I think Derby would be in trouble and villa will be without parachute so would seriously have to sell or would be in trouble I think. I just want Leeds to fail as they feel they have a right to promotion.
  23. Quick thought on Derby, yes they escaped ffp issues by selling their stadium to a company owned by their owner. given their stadium is now not owned by the club itself, they rent it, does that mean that they can't count match day revenue towards income meaning they will eventually succumb to ffp anyway? surely their match day revenue goes to the company that owns the stadium? Am I being stupid?
