  1. I've done it a couple of times when it's been on offer, around £50-60 and can justify it as a nice treat to myself. It's an enjoyable experience, personally I wouldn't pay £90 for it though. 2nd note, nobody will force you to drink Heineken, thatchers is also available.
  2. I assume it's picked based on the redevelopment plan rather than how it is now
  3. I'd personally argue that 10.3 and 10.4 constitutes written permission from the club to lend your season ticket to others on a match by match basis. The sale or transfer has stricter rules under 3.2 but that's different circumstances to lending your ticket for a specific match.
  4. I've got a code if anyone needs one
  5. The £20 increase for an adult in Lansdown centre multiplied by 14k season tickets would be an extra 280k for the club. It's a drop in the ocean
  6. Season ticket price increases will make practically no difference. If you are making it more difficult for a group of fans why not just not raise the prices this year? Make it a great PR exercise about how the club knows how much everyone is suffering atm.
  7. I'd argue that inflation isn't at 10% for the club, that's a measure of the "Basket of goods". The clubs biggest cost driver is player wages and as long as those aren't linked to to the CPI then the club will not be experiencing cost inflation of 10%. Other big driver of inflation is energy prices and the club will be at least partially protected against that thanks to the solar panels on the roof. Fact remains that they are cutting their costs through digitising (if they aren't why are they doing it?), whilst still increasing the cost of the ticket.
  8. Cost increases would feel quite reasonable if it wasn't combined with forcing people to go digital. The club are cutting their costs whilst still upping the price. It doesn't impact me but there will be people out who can't go digital so this must be bordering on discrimination.
  9. Problem with having a view of the lansdown is it tends to be the most empty stand in the ground
  10. His scouting/analysis department clearly let him down, he expected Mehmeti to be playing. That's the sort of information basic information you expect to be able to get right
  11. Racing of both the horse and car variety and boxing off the top of my head
  12. The club don't want you to buy tickets over the phone so have no incentive to spend any money increasing capacity. Some ticket types can only be bought over the phone and providing a good service for those should be a priority, but the club needs very limited capacity for that.
  13. Isn't Dean Gerken on the staff already as a coach? Get him registered like Chelsea did with Cech when he was their technical director
  14. Sorry my original comment was more related to the notion of banning orders. Drugs are obviously still illegal at other sporting events which is why security/dogs will be on the lookout for them. The difference being if you are caught with them at horse racing (or any sport other than football) I don't believe they'd have the powers to ban you for 3-10 years from attending a horse race anywhere else in the country.
  15. Think this is only being applied to football because it's the only sport with existing legislation for banning orders and spectator behaviour already in place (happy to be proven wrong though). Other sports would need a lot more work legally to bring this in
