I don't think SL gives a toss about City anymore. He has not supported Pearson or Manning in the transfer market and is just keeping the transfer fees. He has no ambition for the club and I imagine the fall in the wage bill would bring a smile to his face if we went down. Seeing Scott and Semenyo last week playing for Bournemouth last week reminded me of what we lost and how little has been spent replacing Premiership standard players

Many have spoken on here about Steve Lansdown not being prepared to sack Manning or Tinnion because he doesn't like to be shown to be wrong. So how does that fit with getting rid of his Son. He would be the very last to go. The only one who will go in the end will be Manning.

How the hell is it the last chance for the Lansdowns. Steve owns the club and will go when it suits him. And he is hardly going to sack his son. And I would love to know what Manning has done to make you think he will come good. He looks like a lost child on the sidelines unable to influence what is going on in front of him.

Players have given their all tonight. If they play like that to the end of the season we will be safe.

Having watched the Cardiff game, if that is the future with Manning then I hope whatever needs to happen, happens to get rid of him.

Lost to QPR, Sheffield Wednesday and Cardiff with two games at home. If you are relying on that form to see us through. Then I would be very worried Unless Manning can do something different and change the template we are in the relegation dogfight. And with Ipswich, WBA and Leicester to play this month it looks even harder.

Agree with most of your post but if the coach/manager has no passion then he should not be in competitive sport. Look at the top managers for example Pep, Klopp, Ferguson and Wenger in his day all were brilliant and knew football inside out but all had a passion and desire. Manning is like a hologram. There is nothing there to inspire players or fans alike. A glance to the sidelines to see Pearson demanding more would get a reaction a look at Manning inspires nothing.

It has to happen quick. With Ipswich, West Brom and Leicester on the horizon.

That would mean Steve Lansdown admitting he was wrong. And we all know his arrogance is such that he will do anything to avoid that. Even to the detriment of the club and supporters. The bloke doesn't give a shit about the club or it's supporters. So it will not happen. Didn't he once say judge me on Tinnion. Well you were wrong the first time and are still wrong now.

Passion has surely got to be a key ingredient of any manager/coach. Yet Manning seems devoid of both. How he can show none and pass an interview shows if it needed to just how unfit the Lansdowns are to make any football decisions. And how the ones they have made continues erode our management and team. This can only go one way and that is relegation this year or next. And by then the Lansdowns will have eroded the fan base as well.

Manning is a disaster. One of Lansdown's worst appointments and there have been some bloody awful ones.

Well that certainly hasn't been the case in the past. There used to be a cracking atmosphere both home and away. And it meant a lot to players and supporters. But the effect of Manningball is like an anaesthetic. No fire , no passion on the pitch.

I rarely missed a Pearson interview, his knowledge and experience made them enjoyable, interesting and informative. And the way he would deal with stupid questions was always worth a watch. Sad to say I don't watch Manning's interviews at all now. Wishy, washy and meaninglessness from someone who is not producing the goods on the pitch and has not got the experience or calibre of Pearson. Goodness knows where this will end.

Also should expect Liam Manning to get a hell of a lot more out of the current City squad.

I have wondered how much Manning will use the Academy. He doesn't seem to have much use for them at the minute. Is this a case he has a stronger squad than NP or has little interest in using their players. And the signing of 3 young midfielders for next season suggests that there will be no room for Academy midfield players. Ironically the fact we have a proven pathway to the first team was a key factor in beating other clubs to their signings. At the very time when Manning may be not using it.
