So our one signing now out injured. A really great window.

Well if they score more than 1 goal then we have had it.

Well I guess I am referring to what I see as an urgent need,a striker who can put away the chances we are creating or at least some of them. I thought that was high on the priority list this window and we haven't got anyone yet.

Lansdown should have backed Liam Manning in this window. Playing some really good football but need someone to score the goals. Manning has done his bit but as usual Lansdown has failed to do his.

But that is what we cannot do and it seems that nothing is going to change.

If only we had waited.

Potentially very good signing. Did well to beat other clubs to get him. And good to see Aldershot complimenting City and Tinnion on the professional manner in which it was conducted. Must help with future signings.

Just when I naively thought Lansdown was going to really back the Manager and team. Personally disappointed but should not have been, its other clubs who have owners with ambition. The added sickner being the better he does will reduce the already slim chances we have of signing him. Cannot see any benefit in him becoming an integral part of the team knowing we will lose him at the end of the season and having to start all over again to recruit a replacement.Let's see how they balls up signing a striker.

Isn't it usual that the longer the thread gets the less chance we have of signing the player.

Shame is if he is good enough we have more than enough money to buy him. But you are right too much for Lansdown and that is why we will never progress under his ownership.

I thought Wiemann was one who accepted a new contract on reduced terms.

I felt it more of a concern/worry than a criticism. At the moment there is no evidence of us signing anyone but there seemed to be some suggestion yesterday that Weimann was going. Hence the concerned post.

I agree with you. With the injuries we carry the squad is too small and to lose Weimann before a replacement is on board makes no sense. Worryingly that we must be missing targets and we have £25 million plus in the bank.

Not sure what you mean by giving us flexibility. Surely we were trying to bring players in before this matter with Weimann arose.

Looking relentlessly on the forum for a new signing and find we are possibly losing Andi Weimann. The squad is now even shorter of numbers than before. Only at City. But as far as Weimann what a great servant he has been for City. Played so many times out of his desired position but no moans or sulks just gave 100 per cent every time. Truly a model professional and seems a really great bloke. And scored some wonderful goals for us. All the best Andi and thanks for all you gave to City

I am not melting down. Just disappointed. Thought we could have shown some steel and that we were up for it from the first whistle. But with a goal so early arguably it could be over.

A lot of the time we seem to chase players that are known talents at Championship level. And are obviously wanted by other Championship clubs eg Azaz and Twine.When we get a comparatively unknown talent at a good price eg Szmodics. We never play him and sell him off. And now he is the Championship leading scorer when have such a weak attack. The only sure thing is , if it can be screwed up then City always manage to do it

Does anyone remember those those white Frido footballs with raised dots on them.They were so light that on a windy day you could shoot towards goal and let the wind would do the rest.

Occasionally hope rear it's head, even to those who have seen it all before, but it never hangs around for too long.
