  1. It will be interesting to listen to your guys podcast... Gregor is reporting it won't be a quick decision, what do you think?
  2. If you aren't aiming to be at the top there is no point in even turning up! Why would any real fan not want to see us in the Prem! Saying that, watching Norwich, West Ham, Watford & Villa who are at the bottom of the league all have a much better squads and play much better football than us so I don't see us doing well if we did go up!
  3. This would suggest we do.. Also a fully fit and firing Korey Smith would be my answer to that ball winning midfielder.
  4. Being a striker is not just about scoring goals. You need a striker who can hold the ball up and bring your team/midfield up the field - this is probably why we've conceded so many this season as the ball doesn't stick up top and comes straight back. Big Dave needs someone similar to Bobby Reid who can makes the in behind runs but also clever to know when to get it to feet and when to run in behind. Unfortunately, whilst Weimann may have scored a few this season as a whole his game is poor. Great that he's willing to press but often it's headless chicken style when he should in fact conse
  5. There's probably a 10% reduction in there anyway as although it always says its full there are plenty of empty seats every weeks. Do you know why for unreserved a reduction is mandatory? I understand with standing but not for that? The club wouldn't lose money on the reduction anyway as there is plenty of other seating around the ground. I like section 82, they got a lot of stick on here but you cant rely on a small corner to provide atmosphere.. We need them behind the goal with the WHOLE stand joining in not just call it a 'section'! The williams is a joke it's like a corporate box and
  6. They need to get rid of 'Section 82' and make the entire east end unreserved seating. Atmosphere comes from large groups of friends joining in together which is why it's better on away days. It also doesn't help people only come out just as the game kicks off - I used to love walking up to Ashton Gate and you could already hear the singing and atmosphere building from across the other side of the park.
  7. He's our Ozil.. capable of exceptional moments but often goes missing and is a luxury player.
  8. How anyone would suggest not giving him a new contract is laughable! To get out of this league you need a good squad and having Smith, Nag Brownhill and Massengo as CM choices is exactly what we need. Can't rely on only having 3 as if one gets injured the other 2 get burnt out i.e Pack and Brownhill last season.
  9. We actually have a lot of players with pace in our team, however the problem is we have no one who can use it effectively. Bar Eliasson nobody runs at the defense and takes a player on. These are the types of players that get the crowd going and produce excitement which in turn leads to atmosphere. This current team and boring style of play probably has a big part to play in the lack of atmosphere at the gate this year #Library . Fans are happy to grind out games and play boring football when you're producing results but when the 3 points stop coming in the fan base turn quite quickly!
  10. LJ bought these players so can't say they don't suit he wants us to play?
  11. Eliasson is the only player in the entire squad who's actually exciting to watch and gets you off your seat. We really do need to find a formation to fit him in and build the team around him as when he isn't playing we look so predictable and non threatening. The other thing which is so frustrating about this current crop of players is that they almost accept defeat sometimes - Don't get me wrong WB were by far the better team last night but I saw no anger or frustration from any player other than Williams. On a positive it was great to see Korey back playing (albeit IMO maybe the wr
  12. I can imagine being paid to do absolutely nothing for 2 years must be hell..
  13. Nobody expects to win every game, especially in a division like the Championship. You will also have days where teams play you off the park which happens but I think where the frustration comes is when teams rock up and easily take points off us but don't even have to play that well to do it.
  14. Do the VAR officials get the same checks as the refs? For instance an official from Manchester can't cover a game from either Man City or Man Utd as they may have a bias.
