It would be more useful to know how many chances/opportunities Eliasson has created for Fam as it's not like he coverts every chance is it
  2. How do you think teams qualify for those tournaments? Unless you'd be happier watching City back in L1 then unfortunately it's something you have to deal with.
  3. Looking to buy this in adult size Medium - if anyone is selling one please let me know.
  4. Supply & Demand my friend. It may not appeal to you but the audience figures don't lie. If they aired QPR vs CITY and Salford vs Leeds at the same time, unfortunately the later would pull in more viewers every time.
  5. Am i missing something? Why are people still including O'Dowda in their team selections?? Not only does he not want to be here but he's terrible!! How anyone is putting him ahead of Eliasson is beyond me..
  6. Played better than our £8M CB today IMO.. Still a lot to improve on but one of the very few positives from yesterday.
  7. We can re brand, build a new stadium, get in a fancy new media team etc but it all means **** all if you don't win matches and have a good squad of players! Why would you come out a week before the transfer window closes stating you need 5 more players!? LJ has had more time in charge than any previous manager to build 'his team' yet every year we hear the same old BS around recruitment never addressing the problems we have. As for tactics, playing 1 up top has to stop! especially at home! Fam gets a lot of stick and yes he isn't the greatest striker but we could all see that last year he's a much better player with a striker along side him, something we could all see we have been crying out for yet we recruit every position apart from the one we actually need! I don't even want to talk about starting COD, from having a terrible pre season and not even wanting to be at the club yet somehow starting over my first pick on the team sheet in Eliasson..
  8. As you could previous block a pass, standing between say the RB and CB so there was no other option for the keeper other than to kick it long to the half way line - A defender can receive the ball inside the box so that pass is always on. Watching the game it may not appear that much of a difference, only time will tell. But what I can tell you from playing myself it has changed the pace of the play from goal kicks and the dynamics/tactics of play. It would be interesting to hear from anyone else on the forum who actually plays the game themselves.
  9. Goal Kick 'The ball is in play once the kick is taken, it can be played before leaving the penalty area' I had to admit, I didn't think this rule change would have much on an impact on the game. However, after now competing in pre season games I can see this rule having a real positive affect on the tempo of games. It really quickens play up and the ball seems to be back in play a LOT quicker than in previous seasons. I think teams with ball playing centre backs 'such as Webster' will really benefit from this. On the flip side, we play one up top the same as city with Fam and as you cannot enter the 18 yard box it makes it almost impossible to defend from the front from goal kicks and a lot more tiring for the strikers to try and chase down, as over 90 mins not one goal kick was kicked long. It will be interesting to see over the season how it will affect different teams, as IMO it will really help ball playing quick tempo teams like us but not old school route one teams such as Cardiff, especially even more so now with Aden at the back there!
  10. Safe Standing gone up at the Molineux.. Looks really good IMO!
  11. Does anyone know what date the training gear will go on sale?
  12. I can see us actually picking up a few pens this year! Two types of players we haven't had in a few years - SS who will drive forward into the box from that midfield area and cause problems inside the penalty area and potentially a player like this who plays on the shoulder and is direct/will make defenders make last min lunging tackles
  13. KP is an odd one, whilst he holds the ability to open a defense with one brilliant pass he also often lost the ball in dangerous areas. If we were to sign him on the cheap i'd be happy but can't say i'll be too disappointed if he doesn't. Think we have a better player in Sammie for that role now if he can step up and do it in the championship.
