  1. Its an unfortunate set of facts that : 1) SL is getting old and has switched off from football 2) JL is a lucky sperm. In another life he is a bin man 3) BT is very ambitious and persuaded the above he is the man to lead is forward. “30 years” etc Clearly he is not the man. The interview tonight was embarrassing. We are where we are, but the high level management of the club is a million miles away from where it should be.
  2. Fancy a role as Teknical director at BCFC dave? You’d get my vote tbh
  3. After reflecting a bit to that interview: The bloke got triggered about the easiest questions that he must of seen coming. You could hear in his voice, with the rising tones at the end of his sentences, he was stressed. A classic flag to being under pressure tbh. If you live in a culture where you are not regularly challenged about performance, you end up being Mediocre. Tonight Tinnion collapsed during a simple interview. That basically sums BCFC up at the moment. He is waaaaay out of his depth, but we knew that anyway. Get him back in the youth development, employ experience in the DOF/TD role and start again.
  4. He was very agitated at some of the questions wasn’t he? He is in a very senior role - he should be expressing his opinion in a calm asserted manner not gibbering. Promoted way above his ability. A voice expert would have a field day with that interview
  5. 16 points from the remaining 9 is exactly, to my mind, the target to be given to him. Its a stretch, but as you have already indicated certainly far from impossible with the teams we have to play. 100% spot on. BTW a return of 63 points would be our 3rd best points total since 15/16. Unfortunately, once we get over 50 points i can see things fizzling out, as the players start thinking about being on the beach.
  6. Unlucky Kid, but France the better team. Your Photo is upside down - if you put the 6N table upside down, Wales would be top
  7. That was a great game. Just got in from the pub. Englands best game since that 2019 semi final. To beat such a good team should give them massive confidence. Ben Earl deserved MOTM today and is Englands best player at the moment, but Sam Underhill was amazing too. Also Waboso. Fantastic
  8. We are going to get done by an innings + here.
  9. This thread sums this forum up at the moment. Youth team reaches semi final, and weirdos moaning about LM/BT. Just **** off
  10. Last night's performance has taken us backwards? There was plenty of endeavour on display last night, something that has been missing in recent games. If we can take that to the Swansea game we have a reasonable chance of getting a result. I do agree with you that Ipswich away, is in the same bracket as the games against Southampton, Forest and West Ham, but that doesn't mean the performance last night was in some way guaranteed. The lads put a shift in, against a good side, and could have won, or drawn the game. Ultimately, it's another loss but i can still see the positives from last night.
  11. Where is the issue, with looking at the positives of the performance? You are so glass half empty it's ridiculous. For me, it was a decent away performance against a team at the top of the league. Far better than the last few games, where we have been terrible. I suppose you have little choice but to be negative, saying as your mind is made up already.
  12. I thought this thread was about tonights game.
  13. Ok, but for balance are you giving him any credit for the starting team, the Conway substitution etc?
  14. Some mental posts here tbh. I dont think you can fault our endeavour, and a significant improvement over the Cardiff game. Unfortunately Ipswich dont ever give up and we made a few individual errors. You would have to be very polarised to directly blame Manning tonight
  15. Decent away performance so far. Set up looks good - very good without the ball. Players look up for it. Ipswich look very average
  16. Im glad that the myth of Chris Wilder has been blown up. He really is a *****
  17. I hope we are tapping someone up now, because it's not impossible for us to be losing 7 games in a row - the 3 we have just lost plus the next 4 (Ipswich, Swansea, West Brom and Leicester). 7 losses in a row, you would have thought, makes his position untenable. Holden was sacked for 6 in a row, Johnson 4 (Pearson 5/7). If that happens, we need a new manager in to guide us through the remaining fixtures, where we will need a couple of wins
  18. Gives us the opportunity to counter attack, which is where we can do some damage.
  19. Don't piss yourself. The very suggestion we will flirt with league 2 football is utterly mental tbh
  20. There are no positives from today. Let's be clear, we are a team playing poorly with a coach looking like a rabbit in the headlights. We are in deep shit, and the next few weeks will be very very difficult.
  21. League 2? Seriously ? Today has been shite, but lets not get ridiculous
  22. Lets not lose our shit completely. 1) If relegated Manning is of course history 2) We wont be in Lg 2 FFS
