I remember when we beat them in autumn 2020 under Holden and we were top of the league and they were bottom. How times change!

Anyone else think that Joe Williams hasn’t looked particularly great this season? He seemed to give the ball away cheaply a number of times and isn’t able to dictate play like I hoped he would at full fitness. Need to see more from him in my opinion.

The key to our poor start so far has been a significant drop off in performance levels in the second half, it’s been a consistent theme so far in all three of our league games. Just wondered what your views are on why we can’t play our game for 90 minutes, is it lack of fitness, lack of ability or something else? We do seem to play a fairly high tempo passing style in the first half so maybe we just can’t keep that intensity for a whole game, but the sheer scale of the drop off in each game has been alarming, to say the least.

How much did we pay for him again? Was it £3m or am I misremembering that? If so that is madness considering we can’t afford to spend a penny on transfer fees these days

I didn’t watch the game and hate losing at the best of times but thanks for being so positive and restoring some hope - I think the de ja vu nature of the defeat made me feel like it’s just going to be another carbon copy of the last two seasons but I do believe there is more about us this season, and the standard of performance is probably more important than the result at the moment anyway.
