  1. So my purchase of a £1 ticket is more than doubled to account for a booking fee of £1.25 .. jeez ..so the booking fee costs more than the actual seat at the game !

why claim that tickets are a £1 or £10 when they’re clearly not .

Trying to buy seats on the coach for WHU but they are trying to charge me £27 when it clearly states on the website £22 for season ticket holders,  HELP

It’ll recognise your a season ticket holder when you go to the basket . I’ve just done it and it changed it when I went to pay ..

Or all the kids that play on Saturdays & can't do away games can now go...

I've never even heard of kids football on Sundays- thought that was just pub league stuff.

Every kids team I know of play on Saturday mornings & this now means I can take my son without missing his game, so all good for me.

There is a huge contingency of kids playing Sunday league football - Hanham minor for up to 11 year olds and then the Avon youth league 12-18 .  To give you an indication at u12’s level alone there are approx 75 teams all playing every Sunday 9 a side - there’ll be a few thousand kids really, all registered and playing Sunday league footy I imagine when you pull together all the teams from u7’s through to u16’s ..
My lad plays Sunday PM so we were hoping for a Saturday,  however now we want a  tactical postponement of his game on the Sunday !

I've not heard that for years. I laughed when I read that.

Been sang so many times in years gone by. One of my personal faves was directed at Johnny Byrne playing for Sunderland. He ended up sticking at least 1 finger up to the East End. Days!!

Ha ha I remember the Jonny Byrne chant - it went on and on .. to the extent I remember it being sang in the next game !!

  6. First game for us- will no doubt come again as it was a good watch overall. Would like to see city vs a more matched side .
For those that go often - is the drumming thing always there ? , as we all found it pretty irritating - didn’t know if just there due to being on sky ..

  7. I thoroughly enjoyed watching the optimism turn into disbelief-  my favourite moment was the below when you had “ITK” posters saying to be calm and composed and then a reality hitting home that in fact all was not calm and they’d failed to do the paperwork .
a very amusing end to the day .. couldn’t happen to a nicer club .

My lad was mascot on Boxing Day. Thought that City had the day setup well.

All the guests were part of a tour around the changing rooms etc before the players arrived. When the players arrived the mascots went down to meet them, take selfies with all the players and get things signed. The rest of the guests ate from the buffet up in hospitality whilst the mascots were meeting the players.

As you say, the warm up was on the side of the pitch with the other mascots rather than the players.

He really enjoyed it and I would recommend.

Agree entirely with the above … my sons experience was brilliant . He was also very anxious at the idea of it ( plus excited ) however the club dealt with that brilliantly and checked in with him loads.
