  1. Yes as we thought, the scum agent put him in that plane.
  2. Which is exactly why it’s got so bad in Italy, all the kids went off to stay with grandparents and infected them. Not just that, initially families all went off on holiday when schools shut spreading it everywhere.
  3. My neighbour is a doctor and he tells me it’s not that easy to catch anyway, it’s hardly prolific at the moment is it? Pneumonia is rough and always takes out a good few oldies every week anyway. In three weeks the schools close anyway for a few weeks as do most colleges and universities I think? Good time to assess the situation better I guess.
  4. Yeah for sure, I think our rivalry died off a bit as we didn’t play each other much from 86-2002 if my memory serves me right? the odd game in the 90’s when we were scraping the barrel with Rochdale and your city rivals etc.....
  5. Do you consider Rovers still your main rivals? Seems obvious I know but difficult if you dont play each other very often no?
  6. I agree, it’s cringe worthy these days, I’ve not seen cardiff fans even do it for years.
  7. I dont think any of the teams you mentioned are established to be honest, Bournemouth, Brighton, Watford, Palace and Burnley, any of them could come back down anytime, Watford and Bournemouth possibly this season. Brighton could easily have sunk last season and only had a point more than us I think in the end. swansea and stoke thought they were established also. I think it’s worth it to see your club play at the big grounds, maybe get a win like we did at old Trafford last season, but generally you need a lot of stars to align for you, a wealthy owner, good manager and very astute recruitment. I think most clubs have a 60/70 million wage bill at least so you have to be able to offload players should you go down, so buying the right ones is crucial. No reason why a city like Bristol shouldn’t have some time in the sunshine so to speak, look at some of the city’s that have recently or still do. to break into the top 10 and stay there I reckon you are looking at spending like Everton and West Ham, 150/200 million pound wage bill. A massive gamble for many. I winder what wolves wage bill is now considering they lost 75 million the season they went up due to high wages etc.....
  8. Word is we are finally starting to click, very unlike us as I don’t recall us ever kicking in this time of year. Harris has found a system, Murphy who cost 11 million is starting to look like the player he was supposed to be, as is will vaulks and your old buddy Tomlin is on fire. We have wigan at home on Saturday so could go four points behind Leeds should you beat them, which you could I think and go level on 56. Leeds and forest still have to come to us too. It’s definitely warming up.
  9. Having spent 2 seasons up there with “the chosen ones” I concur and wish the same
  10. If you arrive by train Independently what do the plod usually do with you in Bristol these days? Let you go wherever? Or shepherd you off to a pub you don’t really want to go to? I’m pretty sure we don’t have an active hooligan following anymore, ie like 200 or so who would go looking for trouble on arrival. Don’t get me wrong I’m sure we both have plenty of livelies but reckon they are too old and have too much to lose these days to cause Agro. Give me a nice quiet pint in the prince of Wales, Highbury vaults, Cadbury house, the bell, the Clyde, the white bear, the New England.....allday long
  11. There has been a significant history as you say but a lot of those involved previously are about 50 years old now, not sure if the new generation have the same hunger for such shananigans with jail time very likely these days. In saying that I sure we both still have a few plums amongst us. Some great boozers in Bristol that I’ve spent a lot of time I over the years.
  12. Incredibly I still hear this sort of talk. I haven’t seen one issue at the new stadium. Bearing in mind you could easily get a 5 yr ban for even looking at the away fans these days such is the OTT stewarding. I’d say the ccs is probably the safest place you can be in Wales on a Saturday pm.
  13. Given that our fan base has changed so much in the last 2 decades I don’t think we are doing too badly. 18000 ST holders this season who mainly bought knowing we weren’t going to be staying up last year. Feb is the tightest month of the year and a third game v Reading wasn’t particularly appealing with 5 important games this month. Bang on about the thrill of football being eroded since 2000.....more atmosphere watching my 8 year old play on a Saturday morning.
  14. It was warnocks dealings with the very dodgy agent willie mackay that led to all this possibly. Why were WM’s two kids signed by us, but never played or hardly seen? I actually wish like many fans I know wish we had paid the initial 5 million, but it’s all in the hands of the lawyers and the club were apparently told not too. I’d be amazed if any club went against legal advice. Also, Nantes have refused to even talk to ccfc since the tragedy. They have a very dodgy chairman who all their fans hate. I’m amazed they haven’t enquired into why Sala was put in that dodgy flight with an un qualified pilot, but they haven’t, they just want the cash. If it weren't for us taking this course of legal action against them then those individuals whether agents or representatives of Nantes FC who contributed to this tragedy would go unchallenged. No-one else seems bothered to uncover the facts.. I’m glad we are searching for the answers to finding those responsible for the poor guys death.
  15. Which one? He’s got a few
