No probs. I was in the same team as Gary Collier, Martyn Rogers (city and rovers) Martyn Britton (rovers), and a couple that went to Villa and Norwich. Around 1970ish, five of us ended up as City apprentices, albeit not all at the same time.

I think the schedule for those two away games is asking too much to expect any positive results. Getting up to Norwich midweek and then to Burnley means more travel time than time on the training ground and I wouldn't base anything on those two games. However, I do expect a positive result against PNE, they are due to let a few in imo.

He still qualifies for the U19s but I'd guess they'd move him up to U20s if he's still in the international set up. At some point he'd have to move to the Premier League to go beyond that imo.

The turnaround time/recovery time for this coming week is ridiculous. Travel to Norwich on Tuesday (I assume), then travel back Wednesday night with a day off on Thursday probably. Then up to Burnley on the Friday. As you say, brutal and I'd be amazed if we get a couple of points from those games given the schedule.

I think Scott was at Bournemouth as well, but no idea of the time lines. I really like Backwell, think he'll be next off the conveyor given a bit of time.

I don't usually subscribe to conspiracy theories, but the continued non-selection of Pring which is leaving the bench lop sided is very odd. There has obviously been some sort of falling out there imo. Anyway, I'm predicting a 2-2 today after seeing the teams - which'll do for me, a point would be good.

Why didn't they film the guy running to the reception area - that must be a less shitty area ? Filming a shed with various debris, some dodgy plumbing, and a random discarded BBQ aint a good look. Odd place for a Cryo chamber (which looks like a pimped up container) as well.

It may be that Semenyo is wrapped up in cotton wool for another game or two and may be more effective off the bench at this time. Conway may be rested, he was shattered on Wednesday and its a lot to ask of him to play 3 games in 8 days. If so, and if Weimann is fit, I can see the front two being Weimann and Wells with Scott behind and Williams and James the midfield two. If Weimann isn't fit (I don't think he's at 100%), then Martin to come in. Semenyo unleashed on 60 minutes or so. Back five as per Huddersfield game. Probably totally wrong, but good to have all the options. Whatever, I'd like to see Pring on the bench..

Agreed. Really good build up play from WBA, but a bit toothless up front - which is just as well as the Burnley defenders and keeper aren't the best.

Agreed re Sunderland, they are aggressive and difficult to beat, but Luton ? Not for me, or Huddersfield. Or Blackburn for that matter. Early days, and it will probably come down to the parachute clubs, Middlesbrough will be there as well. Open and interesting Again, Luton ? Can't see it. I fancy Hull to be in the mix. I had us down for 12th-15th this season but reassessed based on what I've seen. Somewhere in the Top ten. Whatever, it's going to be an interesting season ?
