  1. Aitor Karanka.....young coach with good pedigree, championship experience especially at the top end, a presentable polished personality.....everything SL loves. The problem is the football is dire, really dull. But I can see it.....
  2. I had a season ticket for Wimbledon as a kid.....2 things I remember, it was £50 for prem football for the season.....and David Ginola (spurs) absolutely butchering Ben Thatcher for 90 mins.
  3. You have completely missed the point. Smith was lauded for making little old brentford a top championship side, promotion no but success I'm championship cant be questioned..... Thomas Frank managed the biggest side in Scandinavia and managed them in the Europa League. Wilder needs no explanation. You are comparing these guys to Lowe, who got Bury promoted with the largest budget in the league and then Plymouth again with largest budget so this idea that he is comparable to those other names is nonsense.
  4. Someone on another thread mentioned Steve Coppell and his short spell here, I guess no one really knows why he left so soon. Either way he did the same thing at Man City. Below is a really interesting read. http://purelymancity.blogspot.com/2013/12/the-monday-mystery-why-did-steve.html?m=1 Some interesting points including his health, his assistants having no idea it would happen, and the spontaneous nature of decisions. One of life's great mysteries I guess.
  5. Tbh i think it was mental health, similar story at Man City.
  6. From an English experience perspective I cant see any better options than the 3 amigos....hughton cook or jokanovic
  7. Yep. Outliers. Like robbie Fowler being favourite for Birmingham job.
  8. Interesting that Lowe has gone from odds on to 8/1 in the space of a few hours....shows that the bookies have no idea.....as for Flynn at Newport if this was to happen I would have no faith in SL and co.
  9. Yes my first choice. Done a great job everywhere hes been.
  10. Yes. Talked about Plymouth being a bigger club than they realised, Sawyer spoke about how players came with him from bury, etc
  11. Watching this I thought the opposite. Struck me as very lower league which is fine, but we want prem football.
  12. You havent provided polarising opinions.....you have provided old opinions. You even admit that yourself. Cardiff fans are literally taking the piss out of him. I appreciate it hurts, and I know you are bitter, but it's ok.
  13. What about this one: "Pack in the summer should be sent packing. Nowhere near good enough for this level now". Or this: "what an awful buy". I know you love your Marlon shrine but it's time to understand he just isnt good enough anymore.
  14. I agree he did look leggy but the stats here are good. Unless your @Harry in which case its diabolical and Marlon "the wurzels must be laughing their heads off and glad to get rid of this total panic buy" Pack would be better.
