  1. I have no idea too! Under the shrewd management of Bielsa we play some wonderful attacking football as we have in our first two PL games v Liverpool & Fulham, we don't go into matches & park the bus to stop the opposition, playing for a draw is not part of Bielsa's strategy or mentality You lads & lassies on here obviously recall our style of play when we've played Bristol City over the last two seasons. Nice to see your old boy Luke Ayling has made a decent start in the PL Excellent start for Bristol City with a very good win at Stoke yesterday Good luck
  2. May I ask what is bad about the current Leeds side?
  3. Thanks chaps for your kind comments, must have been a great game for the neutrals, I enjoyed the game even though we lost. Three points for the robins too!
  4. Very proud of my team, unlucky to walk away with nothing apart from our pride as we deserved at least a point.
  5. Nice to read your comments Oldland
  6. Good luck tomorrow & for the rest of the season to all you City fans
  7. Villa paying over the top again for a championship striker, Watkins is a excellent player but £30m+ is ridiculous Leeds paid £27m for Rodrigo, a Spanish international, played against Germany last week. We've also bought a German international CB for £12m The British market is so inflated, the transfer fees are not good value. It's not as if we have the best footballers in Europe/World, you only watch England to see how average we are!
  8. I believe due to eight of our players being away on international duty with so little time to prepare for the forthcoming season Bielsa requested all our experienced U21's reported for training therefore Leeds fielding a team of 15yo/16yo's in the Accrington game
  9. Good signing for your team, always rated Mawson when he was at Swansea
  10. I remember the first time Kalvin played v Stoke under Bielsa, he was bouncing off the ground all of a sudden KP looked like an athlete. After our first six games under Marcelo's guidance I was absolutely convinced the kid out of our academy was going far, hence me making such a bold statement that Phillips would play for England which resulted in a bit of mocking & banter from my fellow Leeds fans, however I was deadly serious & refuse to give in to any of the taunts. Absolutely over the moon for Kalvin. You're right Ben White will also play for England sadly unlikely as a Leeds p
  11. Luke has been a big player for us this season, always liked Ayling since he joined Leeds. Ayling's game has improved under our coach Bielsa although that is the case with all our squad. Marcelo has taken on a group of players who were a mid-table side (with a few new signings) & turned them into a championship title winning team, in the end we've romped the league, three more points v Charlton on Wednesday would takes us onto 93 points maintaining the average of two points per game
  12. Yes we have got it right Swede We have top committed management, a world class coach plus a group of happy players who are so together something I haven't seen at Leeds in many decades. Radz & co are already planning for the new season promising top quality recruitment with the No.9 position a top priority I suspect. At long last we've moved out of the doldrum years
  13. Bielsa makes 8 or 9 changes with our 2nd team running rings round Derby's first-team Hernandez running the show
  14. 33 years ago in the 1987 play-off final, not a happy memory. Yes Louie, Aizelwood was playing for Leeds then & football stadiums were very different in the 80's compare to nowadays, thankfully we've moved on!
  15. True, but how many actually watch us, there is so much hatred for Leeds I would imagine many fans switch their telly's off. We've had some really poor games like all clubs experience in the main, but we have played some lovely football, the best I've witnessed since our prem years. Tbh we looked a different class against your lads, two games I thought would be difficult.
