I like Challis, he clearly has a good insight into the squad and like how he referenced a footballing identity being mirrored through the youth team an into the senior team. That bodes well for us in years to come.
Not a critique of any summarisers, but I do wonder if they can be truly honest about what they see in matches as they’re employed by the club. When things are going right, it’s easy to be spot on if you know your stuff. However, when things aren’t going right, I hate it when the commentary doesn’t reflect what is happening on the pitch. Wonder if there’s scope for ex city players/employees to offer a more objective view alongside current employees like Challis?
