  1. Ah I completely understand where we are going wrong, the players don’t coach themselves well enough during the games.
  2. Well said, that was the big difference. I never have confidence that any of the above ever applies to us and that should be the same regardless of who you play, commitment to the plan, we never look like we have one.
  3. Let’s not forget that this is Leeds 3rd home win since the beginning of December, 2 1/2 months that is unbelievable. Then today in winning their 3rd game at home in 2 1/2 months, with the same move and way of play with no one closing the same players down!! oh and no one has mentioned that QPR scored 4 today.......... must be something to do with service and style of play. Whoooosh ball from the back 2 again.
  4. Sorry chaps, my original point was aimed at what he does with the players at his disposal not the actual quantity. 4-5M£ player and probably one of our top earners not even in the squad again, who was signed permanently after spending a loan spell mostly on the bench??? Our “missing link” in midfield not starting against a much stronger and physical team and when we do change it finally bring on another player who always disappears during matches when we are trying to get back from 1-2. A 17 goal championship striker on the bench when AW seems undroppable, without any idea how to give him service (see first point) Our defence and midfield need to pass sideways/back (remind you of anyone?) 10 times before smashing in a long ball up to poor old Dave who by that time has at least 2 blokes at least his size all over him Our main attacking outlet playing some kind of wingback role when we decided to take the left and right backs off taking off one of our most consistent players of in JD So drawing comparisons to Sheffield United is a complete waist of time as their manager seems able to get the best out of his players. Rooney Wednesday will have a field day in the middle of that park then Elland road Saturday, interesting week ahead....
  5. As I have tried to say several times, LJ is what he is some love, some hate. However no tactics no best 11 and certainly no plan B c d e f g, that is the real issue. Get someone in he can learn these things from or get rid. Yes we’re skating round the play off but unfortunately our “luck” bucket is getting empty, anyone else could have seen that amongst the 2100 at QPR to see we stole the Crown Jewels that day and all this winning team blah blah blah is deluded it was the same lightweight midfield that was crying out for our new foreign saviour. NW proven 17 goals in the championship and doesn’t start, fing bonkers. Can we all not just see regardless of league place, Johnson out, better do better he needs to starts leading this bloody squad of 50 players pick his best team/ formation work on the basics all week in training and get on with it, pick players who can pass it forward and not side back side back side back side back to defence woooooooshhhhh.KP dropped again, the only true flair player we have, can’t take off 2 defenders then absorb our only outlet NE and expect him to track back, get rid of the blackmail material AW has on you and move on too many passengers and not enough quality deliveries at set pieces. Act now or I feel that Rooney destroying our midfield wed and an away day at Elland road will be too much for even your luck bucket Mr J.
  6. I have to say that I have never been in the Johnson in camp, that said your positive comments raised have made me realise that he has done good things for the club and cares about it which adds weight to the argument that we certainly could have done worse. That said, my concerns with him from day 1 until now is clarity and communication, footballers are not the brightest people and all they want is a system, know their job and play in their RIGHT positions. For me he still doesn’t know his best 11, best formation and how to influence a game through tactical substitutions and change formation when needed. He tries to out think other managers when it should be (especially at home) this is how I’m going to play. Get this element right and he may start changing minds, however my fear is he will only ever be a good coach and not the real managerial leader we need to get into and stay in the premiership with, happy to be wrong on this one.
  7. If funny how he quotes “quality over quantity” yet he’s signed nearly 60 players, still doesn’t know his best starting eleven, formation or how his substitutions will influence a game when a plan B is needed. Great examples are Pato, rejected on the last day of the August transfer window, failed to get on at Derby then gets thrust back in the team as we have no better options!! Yet 3 who were signed in August, we had 2 on the bench yesterday and a 3rd been excluded again altogether, when Johnson was only saying 2 weeks ago what a key member of the squad he was? Baffling to say the least. He needs to be very careful where he points his finger next, if he has finished chucking “his” players under the bus post game.
  8. Funny you should say that, we performed the same way today as the Brentford game, shows the vast difference in this division. Well happy with a 1-0 home win will definitely take that but polyfilla is definitely not the answer on this job.
  9. It was What game were you watching then?
  10. In the league, shall we paper over the draw and loss to the L1 side......
  11. They outplayed us all over the park, moved the ball quickly through the team with players making space and wanting the ball. Switched play at will from left to right and all players 100% committed. WAIT............they stole our identity!!!
  12. Probably get 3 days in Dubai now to refresh the lads
  13. I bow down to your superior knowledge
