It was clear from the watford west ham and forest games, that he had us ticking over really well, there was a lot of positivity around in those cup games! He was let down with the striker situation in january, and had rotten luck with the twine injury, and also, hes had to deal with the aftermath of the pearson decision. Hes certainly made mistakes too, and hopefully theres some confidence around now that we can play out the season with a good run and give hope for the future. It was only last week that yet again he was being personally ridiculed for his communication style,, and its out of order,,, hes clearly a bright successful guy, having some meat head from weston giving him personal grief is embarrassing.

I dont see the problem with getting him in for what is essentially a trial for 4/5 months, if hes not up to it, weve had a good look anyway. Thats as long as we didnt blow the budget for a new striker by bringing mabude in, which hopefully wasnt the case, but who knows with the way we are run.

Have you tried those enchroma glasses? Not sure if they work in all cases?! -
Agreed, id love to see us go unbeaten now, but having us play some good stuff and actually going for it in games is essential…
-
Agreed, but having the other 2 fit and in their correct positions just makes things better?! The 3 of them are a decent championship midfield combination
-
Twine in at number 10 with knight in midfield has to be making a difference
-
So hes in dublin having an ice cream at easter, is there any suggestion hes been seriously injured by our medical wizards and wont be expected to train for the next 3/4 months?
-
Has anyone verified this murphy injury? Last week it was james being left out cause it would trigger an extension that made everyone lose their shit?!
-
Had a look yesterday, hes got 3 league goals this season, plus another against oxford in the cup. Seeing as his whole game is about being a “bagsman” as he calls it, that isnt enough.
-
Weve been crap for decades, so weve earned the right to be fickle! im confident though that if twine had been fit we will have got more wins since he signed. The 2 games hes started when fit weve won both.

Agreed, there was clearly a need for a creative midfielder all along, and a lack of goals from the forwards. 14th place after selling scott and semenyo who were still here when we finished 14th last season shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone. -
Sam or T.C; who would you choose to keep

I get the feeling bell is happier to be here than conway is, and I suspect is less likely to run his contract down and try to get out. -
I think their average this season is higher than ours, though ours is certainly getting better. Their stadium is bigger too isnt it, plus only having 1 club in a decent sized catchment area helps?!
-
Derby are bigger than us in just about every area, apart from current league position, much as it pains me to say it.
-
Agreed! Im not convinced at all by manning, but to bring twine in and lose him for all those games has been a hanmer blow to the way he wants us to play. With him/ a championship level number 10, plus the big striker, we could be a different proposition.
-
Im sure that the bird signing is to bring him in to take the sitting ball playing midfielder role that james currently has. Perhaps him and tgh will share that role moving into the future.
-
The big number 9 at luton was adebajo though, and we wont be getting anyone in as good as that!
-
I was there, the similarity in mentality with manning is uncanny. Everything is well presented, and corporate, but there is no passion, winning would be nice, but not essential, as long as we get our required amounts of possession, and stick to the plan then its fine. Without kane there was no focal point or threat, like us with our forwards, foden is a great talent but just doesnt create much for england, but no one does. bellingham is one of the most desired midfielders in the world, but has to stick in the system. Id be happy to give it to klopp,,, get some passion and aggression back in our team.
