  1. But this isn’t just a hash of various Man City blue shirts. It is unique and has a distinctiveness to it. Ours could just be sewn together using off cuts. There’s nothing “new” about it to celebrate the past yet also embrace the future.
  2. There are loads of clubs who do good, throwback simple shirts as 100/125 anniversary type things. Crucially they look simplistic and are normally done as one-offs without that seasons sponsorship. This is god awful and captures none of it
  3. And if the fans had their way with every decision, we'd likely not have the squad we have nor be sitting outside the play-offs in the second tier of English football. And I've only read the "fallen out of love" piece but have seen enough in that to understand I'd agree with the counter argument without reading it.
  4. Mark Ashton & Steve Lansdown would suggest the three on the bench still being in place are more core to us progressing forward as a club than those on the pitch...
  5. Gregor says he may go out on loan Odd with Kalas and Baker both struggling to put consistent runs together in the team
  6. Skim read to check no one referenced the origin but am not reading the nonsense in response. The quotes come from Colin Murray’s “At Home” podcast series. https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b08pm9sl/episodes/downloads I listened to the Holloway one earlier. In full context none of his quotes here are as reported and he comes across very well in discussing both his career and Bristol football including the current state of both clubs.
  7. Especially now it’s only one train an hour. It means it would close for trains twice every 60 minutes, albeit within a smaller window so not 30 mins apart.

    Baker

No idea what’s happened with me quote there but anyway.... last night was odd. Up for the ball. Their player goes down (I think) and then Baker is just on the floor. Physio comes on and he seems to decide from sitting that he’s done for and that’s it. He certainly doesn’t seem to get up and test anything out. All happened very stationary. Might be misremembering it.
  9. I was. We weren’t okay. Owers is wrong.
  10. Not going to be an option as a homegrown player for the bench then.
  11. 2017 we brought in Hegeler, Djuric & Wright in the first week of January with Taylor following at the end. Which was the exception to our usual business certainly.
  12. Did anyone closer see what happened / said? unless I imagined it didn’t Pontus Jannson put something on social media making comment about it from their side?
  13. As I read this I can picture it clear as you like in my mind immediately. He just stops abruptly in front of the opponent, stiffens up and pulls his arms up as a “I’m not touching him ref” sign.
  14. Add in two more. Hakeeb Adelakun - 23 now. Is he injured? Out of contract Summer 2021 but just never mentioned. Must surely go on loan as what else is the point of him. Tyreeq Bakinson reportedly at Plymouth yesterday and about to sign on loan
  15. Works postponed tonight according to First (ie buses) so road will be open. The weather doesn’t enable them to resurface I guess?
