  1. No doubt this was difficult to write... But a very good job done.
  2. That’s a good call, might be worth waiting a while to see if he (or others) become available. Would need to be a big sell from SL !
  3. Night out in Copenhagen... ordered shots at the bar and got talking to barman and it became apparent he had an English accent. City fan with bristol roots. Got a few free drinks met him at the ground for a drink when he came over to visit and watch a game. Approx 10 yrs ago. He used to be on this forum, perhaps still is?!
  4. Sensible choice if main targets not possible. Wouldn’t call it a panic buy, it would be a good fall back option.
  5. I am happy of course, but I cannot get my head around this one... He is 18 and played a few games in the CL and is a 'hot prospect', then he signs for a championship team and in his first interview talks about getting back into the CL. The only motivation I can see as possible, that I hope is true, is he is dropping down intentionally to try and play more games. Otherwise this just doesn't make sense to me... Fingers crossed we have a gem on our hands.
  6. The EP article mentioned Thierry Henry rated him highly when manager. Didn’t LJ do A training course / badge with him and remain matey? I seem to remember something about him and Johnson exchanging wassaps being stated in the press. Perhaps we got some info from Henry? 2+2 = 5
  7. to be fair, I dont think any of them would get in the Chelsea team so the article isn't that crazy. Its a win-win all round.
  8. I meant the photo, don’t begrudge him going there actually... it’s a career and all that.
  9. Lacking a bit of respect there (photo, not signing which I could forgive) - he knew it was meant to wind us up. Deserves the same level of respect when he comes back to AG. I wouldn’t have wanted him back as I think we have better players, however. modern day footballer, no class!
  10. I wonder how many Chelsea players will be give to Derby as first option now.....
  11. cracking deal on paper, but we need to recruit well. If JDS signs it will look an even better deal. Lets hope we negotiated a good sell on clause - much better for us than if he went to a 'big' club.
  12. WOW... They are lucky the gamble paid off. FFP !? https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/47453599 Wolverhampton Wanderers lost more than £1m a week during their Championship-winning campaign last season. Wolves recorded a pre-tax loss of £57.16m for the year ending 2017-18, more than double the £23.18m they lost in the previous 12 months. However, the club were promoted to the Premier League as title winners in Nuno Espirito Santo's debut season as manager. They also turned over £26.4m and had an increase of £1.3m in ticketing income. In a statement on the We
  13. but we also had reid's goalscoring last year.
  14. Clearly Fam has a good goal scoring record, but we are putting too much pressure on the guy, we have no plan B... shame we didn't get that extra stinker in during Jan (clearly we tried) - I fear we may still be discussing that in the summer!
