  1. I think thats bang on. For me it has similarities of why people play the lottery, most of the time you'll be left feeling shite, but that one in a hundred game, where the fan next to you suddenly becomes your best mate, and a place starts rocking. That's why we do it, we're scared to miss out on that magic feeling, because when it comes down to it that feeling is something that can't be bought. But with Chris Martin up top I don't see that feeling coming anytime soon
  2. Wonder if you still think this?
  3. Contrast, question 7 is interesting
  4. Thank you, a poster with some sense. A 23 year old player with an irregular season being the only Championship one under his belt. Become a scapegoat unfairly, got quality, one to keep hold of.
  5. Oh piss off fella. The most reactionary fanbase you'll find, that goal didn't go i, this post doesn't exist. Stupid post
  6. Atkinson not starting is a joke, our best of admittedly a shit group of players in recent weeks for me

    Warnock

likely **** off. "When I pass away, I don't want clapping or a minute's silence, I want a minute's booing at Bristol City."
  8. Tidy player, one Nige will likely push away if given more time, probably in favour of some washed up 33 year old. I don't think Dasilva is great, but a shite as we look we can't be picky with a player of his past-performances and obvious talents.
  9. But isn't you saying that partly down to Nige, an amazing manager makes players asumed useless into golddust, Conte with Moses
  10. Bets on Pearson saying some shite like; "this isn't the standard I expect, we were very poor tonight things need to change", then do **** all as a response.
  11. Are you joking? Undoubted ability, but had his chances, time for some new blood.
  12. Yeah my bad for the terrible example. Me and my mate were discussing pre match about his though, what I feel is Nige never seems to take any sense of ownership in interviews, the common cliche used (which I'm very glad is not reciprocated by Pearson) of '' back to the drawing board'' seems to be alien to his media handling style. That's good for multiple reasons but at times I just wonder where the sense of maybe I'll do something about this problem type attitudes in press conferences means he takes accountability or tries to insight change, I doubt that's the case though, I think the most likely answer is he doesn't like to reveal too much off the pitch insight in the media. Again sorry for the poor example
  13. Not a great watch, but shows us the quality of particularly Kalas, and mentons to Atkinson, James and Tanner, of how competitive we are in the air. Impressive stuff.
  14. A common theme i'm noticing in Nige is he is incredibly honest in pointing out where we go wrong and critical where necessary, however I never get the sense he has a plan to combat what he sees. Instead of: "we didn't play well we weren't composed" I'd love it to be: "This performance was not the standard we strive for at City, we'll be working heavily on improving composure"
  15. Absolute head and shoulders ahead of Simpson. Great performance today - turning into a bit of a fan favourite.
  16. Brilliant read and I echo nearly everything you've said, with resigning weiman being the only exception. Getting a quality dof is the biggest priority for us at the moment. I'd hope we look in scandanavia and mimick Brentford's recruitment.
  17. And, Scott scored last game, is he now entitled to starts because of that. As a striker scoring one big goal should be a regularity, and when he's performing so below par in other areas it's baffling you think he's justifying starting. Britton scored against Brentford, if score and stay in is your logic why not play him?
  18. Gives us about 4x the amount of Martin in terms of movement and twice as clinical, if he could start next to someone who could hold the ball up properly we'd be laughing.
  19. Dennis Bergkamps' son playing?
  20. It's the physical lad of the 2 up top we need replacements for, i'm perfectly content with Andi but Martin is dogshit. Britton to potentially give it a go, as Conway is more the Weiman type, while I think (in the u23s games I've watched) Bell could do with a loan and isn't Champ standard just yet.

    Pring

Nige type of player .His versatility is going to be a huge asset in years to come. Very impressive lad.
  22. Languid style of play, not lazy. Similar to that of Eze at Palace. Sloppy, yes, but arrogant and lazy, calm down. Very poor tonight, but stop being so quick to write him off.
  23. Here’s to you Robert Atkinson, City loves you more than you will know, oh oh oh, please stick around robbie atkinson, Don't leave us for Brighton, please don't go, oh oh oh
  24. Could be the one good thing to come out of Holden's reign BENTS ATKINSON BAKER/BETTER PLAYER IN THE FUTURE KALAS DASILVA TANNER WILLIAMS MASSENGO JAMES WEIMAN WELLS/BETTER PLAYER IN THE FUTURE
