  1. Got knocked back out of it aswell. Was in A Block when they came in. Lively for few minutes. Old Bill pulled people from Dolman for weeks after that and also lifted some at-away games, Oxford being one that sticks in memory
  2. Loved Marlon to bits. Be great to see him playing back at AG not for those sheep molesting fecks over the bridge
  3. We saw him after the game as he was walking home along Ashton road, stopped for a photo and a chat with the FODBA . Serenaded him with “walking in a Cotterill wonderland” . Very humble bloke. Legend
  4. Absolutely, I have held this view as well for a long time.
  5. Did he offer him a cup of tea and a slice of cake aswell ?
  6. It’s Swansea they should be more wary of, things have gone up a notch with them in recent years , home and away . They have had their allocation cut aswell to 2503
  7. Indeed, £23 tickets and 3300 allocation for last couple of games at Legoland, we repay with £35 tickets and cut their allocation? I have not seen this on their forum though. Why do our club constantly have to rip off the fans of clubs who give us cheap tickets
  8. Jeez, thought you meant the blue few were coming for us for a minute
  9. Wow, I played against CTK about 40 years ago when I played for Tidenham U14’s. Friendly played at Offa’s Mead primary school in Sedbury. Got a commerative badge in attic somewhere.
  10. Tasty atmosphere walking along Ashton road after, plenty of niggle and a few scuffles leading up to North street, then saw it start by El Rincon , City chased West Ham up side streets. Didn’t see any other trouble after that as crossed river towards Orchard . Strange bunch, only come back they seemed to say was that they were in Europe, one got told ,” you ain’t in Europe now pal, your in South Bristol”. Definitely a very changed fan base over the years
  11. Spent many a night in Claire’s over the summers of 89 and 90, used to spend most weekends in Torquay in late teens across the summer months
  12. I saw it from E34 , initially thought it was something blowing in the air until it turned and headed away from S82 corner
  13. Think he announced it as 21700 odd in the end
  14. I was there , minibus from Chepstow, very very eventful day on and off the pitch. If you were in the Oddfellows and offie you know
  15. Manor farm , Bristol’s second biggest club
  16. Through friendship on Facebook Jerry sorted out a problem for me a few weeks back , you wont meet a nicer bloke on all gods earth .
  17. Was his favourite band the Shamen?
  18. Was sat towards back of E34 on Tuesday and we always sing at the back but tbh honest we couldn’t hear anything that the young uns at the front of E34 were singing. There were loads in the middle of E34 not interested in getting atmosphere going until the 4th went in. Heard S82 at times but the acoustics of stadium are crap
  19. We were sat in that stand”cowshed” sure we entered through houses just like Luton?? What a game, moody before and afterwards .
  20. 3 of us old heads sang this today on way to Pegland . It will never grow old.
  21. Severn Tunnel, that’s on my patch. We are driving though, car and minibus
  22. Tallaght is about a 35 min tram ride to outskirts of west Dublin.
  23. That’s the away one and a very nice shirt, this is the one I was on about.
