I’m on that video (). Got a 12 month banning order.
But Pompey were in our stand. End of!! Good days back then watching City.

Got knocked back out of it aswell. Was in A Block when they came in. Lively for few minutes. Old Bill pulled people from Dolman  for weeks after that and also lifted some at-away games, Oxford being one that sticks in memory🤣

Will say this again. Wasn't Cotts assisting "Arry" Rednapp and our boys did him a favour, well that's how it looked from what was going on in front of my eyes!

We saw him after the game as he was walking home along Ashton road, stopped for a photo and a chat with the FODBA . Serenaded him with “walking in a Cotterill wonderland” . Very humble bloke. Legend

Trouble is I don't think we will miss Lansdown I think we as fans don't have that connection it's been broken I feel since the set up of Bristol sport.

Absolutely, I have held this view as well for a long time.

Indeed, £23 tickets and 3300 allocation for last couple of games at Legoland, we repay with £35 tickets and cut their allocation? I have not seen this on their forum though. Why do our club constantly have to rip off the fans of clubs who give us cheap tickets

It’s Swansea they should be more wary of, things have gone up a notch with them in recent years , home and away . They have had their allocation cut aswell to 2503

Sadly Cardiff may not be so accommodating to us in the future giving us extra allocation

So ultimately it is us that will lose out

Yep, totally forgot Christ the King was the one in KW.

    Pius was Hartcliffe.

50s-late 70s were the tail-end of the hey days of corporal punishment. Them sanctimonious priests, and oh-so-holy nuns and brothers certainly knew how to dish it out.

They would have been in their element on the terraces.

But hey, a few “Our Fathers” and a couple of “Hail Mary’s” and all is forgiven.

Wow, I played against CTK about 40 years ago when I played for Tidenham U14’s. Friendly played at Offa’s Mead primary school in Sedbury. Got a commerative badge in attic somewhere.

When I walked past he was on the floor being cuffed by about 4 cops and was repeatedly screaming "stop touching my ass!"

I quite liked how intimidating it was on Ashton Rd after the game, if I was a West Ham fan I'd have been keeping my head down.

A few obviously chose to give some mouth back and there were a couple of small fights.

The old bill were out for the City young uns trying to nick them all, so a game of hide and seek ensued in the streets behind El Rincon.

Heard one young'un saying to his mate "I gave him a gurt right hand" classic.

Tasty atmosphere walking along Ashton road after, plenty of niggle and a few scuffles leading up to North street, then saw it start by El Rincon , City chased West Ham up side streets. Didn’t see any other trouble after that as crossed river towards Orchard .

Strange bunch, only come back they seemed to say was that they were in Europe, one got told ,” you ain’t in Europe now pal, your in South Bristol”.  Definitely a very changed fan base over the years

On the subject of no blue, it's good to see that the new edition of Bristol Monopoly does not include the Gas, but does include us of course - and Bristol Manor Farm.

Manor farm , Bristol’s second biggest club 👍

It doesn't really travel round the ground well.

I was informed that there was a good atmosphere in E34..I was down towards the other end of the Dolman but though I could see standing and the actions associated with the songs, I couldn't hear anything.

Was sat towards back of E34 on Tuesday and we always sing at the back but tbh honest we couldn’t hear anything that the young uns at the front of E34 were singing. There were loads in the middle of E34 not interested in getting atmosphere going until the 4th went in. Heard S82 at times but the acoustics of stadium are crap

Goosebumps watching that. Went to that game, FA Cup tie. I always call it the Jackie day. Junior Bent outran every defender. City fans most of the way down one side and nearly half the end behind the goal. The old Filbert street was rocking. Great away game.

We were sat in that stand”cowshed” sure we entered through houses just like Luton?? What a game, moody before and afterwards .

They play in Tallaght quite a long way out of town, i watched them when they played in Galway a couple of years ago, their fans invaded the pitch when they scored a late winner letting off loads of pyros !!!

Tallaght is about a 35 min tram ride to outskirts of west Dublin.
