The final season for me. From U7’s to U16’s, it’s been stressful and infuriating at times but so rewarding and I wouldn’t change a thing. Once my son goes off to uni in a couple of years, I may even take a new batch of U7’s on and start the journey again.

When bacterial infection was mentioned, my first thought was possibly a staph infection or glandular fever. Staph infections sometimes need the wound drained so technically surgery but I’ve never heard of glandular fever needing surgery. Hopefully it’s a case of weeks not months.
