  1. He’s been called Doc’s since he was about 8 years old
  2. Sonny Bradley has to consider himself unlucky not to make the list
  3. Not happy he was thrown on in 90th minute today?
  4. I found using fairly dull coloured headbands from a young age instead of bibs, worked wonders when encouraging to play with the head up. They all hated them but it forced them to actually look up instead of hoping to see a bright flash of colour out of their peripheral.
  5. What great bloke Steve Cross is, I was lucky to have him as a coach for a season. He played the “good cop” role brilliantly!
  6. SBB

Obviously he’s injured but I’ve always thought Weimann was a great foil when up top in a 2. Seems easy to play alongside and creates chances for others from his press.
  7. That was a tired performance today by a stretched squad. I think it has just caught us up today. I’m not ready to hit the panic button or hang the team and manager out to dry just yet. If we can keep clawing away picking up points until we get a few back from injury, I’m confident we’ll be strong down the final stretch.
  8. I didn’t really see him as that but I do have a massive amount of respect for what he achieved here. I just think looking at his CV, Shrewsbury could do a lot worse.
  9. Their fans don’t seem too happy. I’d be over the moon if I was a Shrewsbury supporter.
  10. Considering all the injuries, the covid situation and the level of opposition, that was a great battling performance.
  11. Of course Well I’m stealing the “captain shithouse” phrase anyway. Brilliant
  12. Fair comment, made me laugh. Didn’t really mean for it to come across like that but point taken and well made
  13. Both are obviously aware interviews are not only listened to by the clubs fans. Difference being, LJ wanted to impress the wider audience with his knowledge whereas Holden doesn’t want opponents knowing every detail.
  14. Certainly is. The end of season stats will be really interesting as well.
  15. These are really interesting. I like the last one. So in the last 22 seasons, out of the teams in 3rd after 12 games... 4 - finished in an automatic spot 8 - made the playoffs 10 - failed
  16. Funnily enough, one of the main gripes from Derby fans yesterday seemed to be that apparently Paterson was booked for pulling Holmes shirt in the box but Stroud only gave a corner? I can’t remember why Pato was booked but sounds more likely he was booked for dissent?
  17. Shooting first time is situational, if Fam shoots first time Saturday, it probably gets blocked. There will be times in all strikers careers where they could have hit it first time but didn’t and times when they had a lot more time than they realised and could’ve taken a touch but didn’t. At professional level, where players are pretty much physically equal, making the right decisions at the right time along with technical ability, is what separates.
  18. “You left your wig in the dressing room at half-time”
  19. I think we were all prepared to give them some slack today, they refused to take it. Brilliant.
  20. Fantastic effort considering the past week or so.
  21. This sounds familiar... “South Wales Police have opened an investigation into former Wales international David Cotterill after he was accused by former team-mates of cheating them out of a combined total of almost £400,000”
